“Not a bad month” - Did we play the same game? They screwed up the mid month patch, broke GQ, broke Field Training. Several days with huge lag spikes. And basically nothing F2P this month…….

Also we didn't get a war room event so far, they usually came between the Treasuries, the last one was over 1.5 (?) months ago. So we will now get one every 45 days? It also took them over a Month to fix Tournaments (did they? we will see tomorrow). A system they deemed ready for deployment, it should not have required more than a few minor tweaks.

Yeah, felt like everything was broken and/or delayed. Even my money purchase pack didn't work and when it got fixed after few weeks the accidentally downgraded my FT refinery (FT itself remained correct tier), lol. Content wise I would have liked it, but I'm not F2P. It's just that stability went downhill even further. Need to be scared of going to menus if anything important is possibly happening because chance of game freezing is so high 😅 (I have high performance hardware). To be fair I think this time they did try to do the correct things. It's just that it almost entirely failed.

This month was just boring, I even forgot to finish off the complete mission event. It was that boring since just about everything was for paying players. This isn't even a game anymore. It's "want to be first, pay this amount." " want to complete this, pay this amount" " want to score in this, buy this"

Survey completed, are they trying to run everyone off except for the hard core spenders? Because anything someone might want was all paywalled. Lorca might have been nice if we had some way to grind for it but that didn't happen. Woop de do!

There is nothing good to say on this game anymore. Quality is improving game play and nothing they have added has done that. Look through events and it's almost exclusively about how much you spend. That doesn't make it a good game at all. Any sane players would be gone, love of Trek or not.

If officers have no sourcing they're not "must haves" full stop. My station is full of "must have" officers that have been stuck on T1 since I got them. W/o sourcing they become obsolete pretty quickly. Nothing exciting this month.

I still can't believe how they dead-silenced the new field trainings, just no more communication at all. I hope the players won't forget about them! The field trainings were live for an hour and got shut down again because of the lag they caused from thousands of players claiming them simultaneously. Is that our fault? No! They could have introduced the new field trainings one by one, hour by hour. By now, they would all be back and there wouldn't have been only little lag at best. I understand why Scopely won't bring them back again ... they will just say "it will cause too many issues on the client side", but they will think "it's free, so why invest man hours into them, those FTs won't give us a cent of revenue".

same with 30-35, 36-39, 40-45, 45-49, etc... Any time you get a new level locked ship, it makes the others almost obsolete (or unable to do anything for you with dailies/missions). The balance in this game is crazy bad.

F------------- It took 20 minutes this morning to reset an opc miner. Freeze/crash so you have to restart app. Restart and game runs for 1-2 seconds and then quits. That went on for 20 minutes. For the rest of the day so far this cycle of not being able to play has lasted between 2-5 minutes.

Pros: #1 Nova Squadron is great. #2 After years of nagging them to not do a new loop for an arc, they finally did it. It's a shame they couldn't really work on stability and more bug fixes though. Cons: #1 Stability has been awful. #2 New Field Training not working despite the entire arc ending. #3 Fleet Commander Janeway sourcing not announced/revealed I don't count paid only content as content, cause let's face it, they haven't really been timely with sourcing paid content so who knows when (if ever) F2P will get it. They get credit for it(positive or negative) when it's accessible by everyone.

"Due to popular demand we replaced DeMarco with Tolra in the SLB/SMS" Up to this point i have not seen a single person asking for that, only people who were unhappy. They should have just added Tolra with the XSLB. This Month did basically nothing of value. I do like the Invasion Events since they mean valuable F2P stuff, even though it could still be improved, but that not content from this month. I unlocked the Protector and Eviscerator and happy about that, but still, not this months stuff.

I wanna have more QOL stuff to be added, .. simple things is how long (many days/hours etc ) are invested .. less need to do 3 hours a day just to complete dailies .. (save more tokens for mantis,voyager,probes) the eventstore has been gone many arc's .. almost forgot how to get ships .. more bug fixing ... an more "equal" playing field where bullying other players is countered by a officer that does a "go-home-canon" thing .. doing events back to back where you need to spend THE SAME resources time and time again . . - i want to export game data (shards .. credits and such) so i can manage .. and bookmarks outside the game that work .. its bizar that so many tools exsist outside the game .. and with many "faulty descriptions" or a hostile says "hard" and you kill it with realta with good crew .. its kinda akward being understatement .. bringing new things is not bad .. but without serious QOL and bugfixes .. and micropayements .. this game is grinding itself to the grave.

I would say as a pure f2p...there's not too much. In fact, this month...there was nothing! forbidden tech? nope. lorca? nope. officers? nope. new loop? nope (good thing). there was literally nothing for me except the nice to have nova squadron building.

The top alliance is still ruining the fun on server 86. I have NOT SPENT A PENNY there in two years. I used to spend $20 to $50 every month. If you try to do an event - they prevent you from doing it. If you try to mine isogen - they prevent it. They had better not merge anyone with server 86 or more will quit the quite than already has. 86 is trashed. Way to go scopely. You rock Rev. It is being said that that alliance is TRYING TO FORCE A SERVER MERGE by making people quit. Fortunately - I can play on my wife's account - otherwise I would quite after 4 years of 8 hours or more a day play.

I gave Lorca a D because he is way too strong. Regardless of the F2P path, there has to be balance in game design and I don't see how you balance him with the rest of the content in the game and how they can progress with new FCs in the future without making them more busted than Lorca.

You know, I'd like pvp too if I had a 1 billion power ship and was allowed to feast on people with a 9 mil g3 epic as their strongest ship. Need to balance pvp. Make it painful to punch down. Make it possible to punch up. Limit attacking to 10 ops levels below. When one person can never lose and the other never have a chance to even make them pay for it, it is bad for the game.

Lorca is awesome, and will be great when he opens up to everyone. That said he still represents and insane level of power creep for FCs. So while I like the boosts he provides, his presence bodes ill for the future.

i have enjoyed the month events as it was not hectic and just a few a day. and enjoyed the slower pace.. only thing i did not like was all the paid to enter events.. but i did enjoy having time to do events and daily's and do some actual faction missions.. wish all the events where slower with just a couple a day rather than the huge dump we get each day trying to fit everything in..

Lorca is an F. He's the most recent "must have" that breaks game balance to entice the spenders to open their wallets. And I'm sure he's worth it for those who buy him... until the "next" Lorca comes out in 3-6 months and the cycle repeats. Horrible game design.

This September, like last September…..sucked. It was not fun. All there was for someone at my level to do was upgrade a building a few times. That was it if you didn’t buy Lorca. And I’ll give you all a heads up on officer sourcing for the new ones. It’s gonna look like the original Voyager sourcing or the new SNW officer souring. Two shards a day max. This month was not a fun month. They missed.

Sorry Rev., often I am in agreement with your comments and ideas. However, not this month, Officers, nothing for me, lag, available by the bucketful. Field training broke, GQ broke, Features, too many and they broke. A rubbish month all round. Mark for this video mate 1 of 10. You must be very tired. Better luck next time.

Lorca is OP but I feel like we’d gripe if he wasn’t. He can reduce time and effort for virtually any level of player. His punch up ability is actually disappointing. But overall solid add. Nova- a smokescreen hope they buy it “maybe we don’t have enough add more in to the month” thing. G6 armadas : they give out g5 mats. And before anyone says “oh it’s bonus items” show me another armada chest that does that. G5 armadas? No g4. G4 armadas? No g3. If you need g5 mats and you’re able to kill a level 70 epic then you’re doing something wrong. This is scopely screwing us. Again. Officers were meh. Overall the month just seemed like a hodgepodge of leftover stuff. We didn’t get a new loop, thank goodness, so that is probably the best part other than Lorca.

I refuse to do the Survey. Here's my reason. Scopely continually locks the experience behind a paywall. Therefore any questions relating to new FC or Crew are meaningless to the majority who do not Pay to Win. That means it's an N/A. Trying to get people to rate something they can't use unless they pay for it is presumptuous at best. And putting the questions in just for people to say N/A does not give a true reflection of the gaming community's opinion. They messed up Tournaments. They messed up Training. The one thing you're right on in this video Rev is it's TOO MUCH TOO OFTEN. Time for them to step back and fix up all the issues and extend existing content to the higher level players. You can't build a stable house without a strong foundation!

The sourcing of officers should have more weight. If it doesn’t have enough weight, it becomes a game for the rich and shameless.

I don’t think you’re hating on Lorca just to hate. Power creep is a serious problem in this game and frankly facilitates bullying in some instances (I’m not saying all spenders are bullies, just that there’s no recourse against those that choose to be). Instead of trying to find a way to reign in power creep…Scopley has gone all in on that strategy with Lorca.

One of the best months ever? Hardly! This is yet another tedious bug-ridden arc with random stuff making the game more and more of a chore. This month has me thinking it’s time to let it go. The cynicism of Scopely combined with the lack of imagination they put into the game as a Star Trek game adds up to not much fun anymore

It was a dull month with very few engaging events. I have however rated this arc much higher due to no new loops, giving an opportunity to catch up. Has felt like a make or break month for Scopely with the multiple maintenances to roll out mediocre pay for only content 🤔

Lorca is welcome and amazing, and I would have given the arc an A if that was all they did. But then, they did, well, everything else. It nets out to about a D-. I am still waiting on a comp chest and patch notes for a release that contained, I guess nothing.

This was a Quality month. 30 min timers on FCs makes them more usable. Research to improve old statuses and make old officers more usable. No new loops or grinds. Added the minimum number of officers and they aren't meta changing.
