tang (탕) has a couple meanings but one of them is that it’s an onomatopoeia for the sound bang so tang tang tang is bang bang bang i think in this context but like in english tang it’s self is a word too for taste or flavor so in gods menu tang tang tang is more like saying this is our flavor/taste = style but definitely they’re referring to it too so it’s cool tht they’re linking the tracks and mixing the word play to suite the specific tracks

So about album: ate can be slang but it also translates into 8 members. Also if u are gonna read the logo of ate from right to left u will read it as star. So it can be that "ohh we ate" but also can mean 8 stars. Skz also anounced dominATE tour so cool wordplay😅. As for songs and why the album may be different. Skz was never mainstream music and from the begining got hate for their loud music but now thay said that thay would still have skz sound but try out more mainstream sound in this album (with title track "chk chk boom" and i like it), also thay where really experimentall with song choices bc in their albums usually most songs are loud but in this one onlly 3 out of 7 is. Also JJAM! If u dont know thay have this very experimental song "tortoise and hare" and got lot of hate bc of how weird it was and JJAM gives me same vibes with how experimental it is with crazy beats, goffy lyrics like "i know, you know, lee know" and different music structure like dance brake in the middle of the song😭. It was crazy that thay made another song with same goffynes when thay got really big hate with the first one. Also skz new song "slush" (its not out yet) is gonna be one of the soundtrecks for upcoming deadpool movie so stay tuned!
