The reason this is probably the first time you are seeing Hollywood actors in a K-pop MV is because Stray Kids, especially Chan and Felix, have been friends with Hugh and Ryan for a couple of years now, though they are closer with Ryan. Chan and Ryan have done interviews, talked on social media, and Ryan celebrates Chan’s birthday every year and hypes up their comebacks on social media every time. They got to meet in person and did interviews since Ryan and Hugh are in Korea to promote Deadpool. This is all thanks to Stray Kids choosing a Deadpool concept for one of their Kingdom performances (fun fact: their company first rejected this idea :D) and Stays did edits and made the performance go viral to the point where Ryan saw it, and that’s how their conversation started. He sent a bottle of alcohol, his own brand, to Chan, and Chan sent him a signed album. Ryan mentioned Chan as his “new favorite Australian,” so Hugh was pretty much added to the conversation too, and he talked about Felix being one of his favorite members. Now they are in the "Chk Chk Boom" MV, and Stray Kids is going to be on the new Deadpool movie’s soundtrack with “Slash.” By the way, Ryan mentioned in an interview that Marvel had no idea they were going to be in the "Chk Chk Boom" MV, not to mention as Deadpool and Wolverine. 🤭 This is just pure friendship

During his promotions for Deadpool 3 in South Korea Ryan reynolds mentioned stray kids, and said if he were to go on koms (a Korean singing show) again he could sing god’s menu and also mentioned about how slash is the deadpool ost! He is such a fanboy of stray kids he would make birthday edits for Bang Chan and skz cool edits sometimes featuring himself, would even mention them randomly and use their B side tracks (on his social media) which are rarely known by non fans. He would have random convo on social media like how one time he got to know Chan was about to watch Deadpool with all the stays (as a move time for Christmas) he got giddy and started teasing Chan online Hugh Jackman claimed his bias is Felix while Ryan said he is an ot8 stan he biases all the 8

During the promotions they (Ryan & Hugh) wore Korean hanbok (the traditional attire) so the host was mentioning to the media that the hanbok they are wearing are designed by the same designer who designed for Blackpink when they (BP) attended Coachella. Ryan went, 'OH ! Black pink I love them, and STRAY KIDS!!!!! I LOVE STRAY KIDS!!!!' It was so funny 😅 because the k media was not even mentioning SKZ but he would express his Love for them whenever he could.

On most of the comeback from 2021 he would jam in and comment on their KZbin channel and share his opinion about the released tracks And of course make edits on his fav songs and snippets of their MVs for example today he used ChkChkBoom song on skz 'Megaverse' MV and edited it as the celebration of ATE release. It's just friendship and admiration 💕
