I'm from Perth so I don't even have a dog. Looked like a clear try live, the second angle casts *some* doubt but it's not concrete enough to rule a try out. End of the day this decision soured the final as it could have been a tense Storm 12 vs Panthers 14 scoreline across the last 30 minutes of the game. I bet a close margin like that would have allowed the storm to play their gameplay instead of having to try and force outcomes like they had to do being so far behind. Glad I don't watch entire seasons of the NRL any more, complete waste of time. I'd respect the 4-peat way more if the 2023 and 2024 finals didn't involve the Panthers benefiting from some dubious refereeing. Still, pretty remarkable team I guess.

I think the on-field ref should have the ultimate power, I've only seen it once where the bunker was going to grant a try and the ref intervened during the ruling to show what the bunker missed. I hated it at the time, because it was against my team, but it should be the way the game is reffed. In fact, get rid of the bunker and just have what they do in soccer, give the refs the angles to view it, and let them make the decision.

That's their achievements after 60 years of football. Melbourne was founded in 1998. Officially they have won 4 premierships, but it's 6 when you count the two they had stripped from them. Why were they stripped? Were they bribing ref's? No. They paid their players too much, that's all. Any excuse to strip Melbourne of victory. On top of that they have 5 runner up premierships. They both also have 4 members in their hall of fame and Penrith's were only done to commemorate the clubs 50th season; basically the NRL felt bad that the Panthers went 50 seasons without any players decent enough to reach the hall of fame. The Penrith Panthers are the NRL's spoiled child. There's even an angle that clearly shows the tip of the ball hit the ground and yet no, let's baby the Panthers. The Panthers are a joke. Their supporters are a joke. I can't wait until next season when all y'all start going quiet again as Penrith Panthers once again becomes everyone's easy win.

I know they are fit but no team can have so called line speed like that regardless. When the camera did allow a wide view it was as plain as day.
