@@benoh8321I think overall Bennett is a better coach coz along with club success he has had success in Origin, won a world cup in 2008 as an assistant coach with underdogs New Zealand, and put up a very good fight as head coach in the world cup final in 2017 with England against Australia.. and he could have easily won his 8th premiership with a 3rd different team with Souths last year.. but if we are just talking about club completion then Bellamy is better..

Bennett never left Broncos, he was pushed out the first time and won a Premiership with St. George and was sacked the second time. If he had a choice he would have retired there as a Coach but not for Three Wise Men as Wayne puts it.

What an achievement, also it's so good to see that Craig enjoyed his time at the Broncos under Wayne, it's crazy to think how he was also involved with players like Tallis, Langer, Renouf etc. That would have been an amazing group at the Broncos and would most definitely destroy the comp if Wayne and Craig were to coach together again (under the might Broncos). But it's Walters time to shine now for the Broncos, and I reckon he'll make the Broncos proud. Three favourite coaches, Wayne, Bellamy, Walters

For the first time I have actually enjoyed any interview where it involves Bellamy. For some season I have never taken to Craig, not that I don't think he is a great coach, I think he is one of the best. You see I have always followed Wayne Bennett through out his career as a coach and followed every team he has coached. I have always regard Wayne as the best mentor first and foremost and Coach second with the greatest brain. He doesn't always share his coaching skill to every coach that have coached under him but I believed he shared a lot of his knowledge to Craig, regarding coaching and I felt Craig has never thank Wayne enough or appreciate what Wayne has given him regarding being a million dollar coach. Ever since Bennett won that 2006 Grand Final against Craig, they have never seen eye to eye. This interview is the first time I have heard Craig giving Wayne so much accolade, even if it was a long time coming. Great interview Mat

Personally, I've seen Craig give Wayne credit plenty of times. I'm someone who watches pre and post game interviews, maybe you don't? The only time you really hear about their relationship in the media is when they don't see eye to eye, but they often praise each other like 85% of the other time lol. Really happy this gave you a better perspective of Craig.

@@grantisshananaa4906 Bellamy unfortunately ruined the sport of rugby league by introducing his little wrestling tactics, i like the man but not the coach. its a shame the sport has been reduced to a wrestling match instead of a football game, this is why Bellamy failed as a state of origin coach.
@grantisshananaa49062 жыл бұрын
@@grantmccarthy3547 Do your homework, the Broncos had a wrestling coach while Bellamy was an under study. Don't hate because he saw the potential in it. He failed at Origin because you can't instill his mentality to blokes over 3 weeks. Bennett gets his players up for a game, Belly gets them up for the year. big difference.
