Worthy of mentioning is the Syriac Peshitta which uses the term meaning, “to split, *perforate,* rend” (no lion in the verse). Perforate means pierce. Some blindly assert the Peshitta OT is translated from the Greek LXX, but it's well known it's sourced from an original Hebrew from 2nd century AD, some think older, with the earliest known copy from the 6th or 7th century AD (Codex Ambrosianus). A cursory examination will show it’s definitely not from LXX (I just checked Jeremiah 1.1 and already see evidence against this), in fact the LXX likely comes from an Aramaic/Syriac (Targum) ms, which is what the LXX of Job actually says in the appendix and I’ve seen some places where even the later 2nd or 3rd century official targums of the rabis agree with the LXX against the MT. Several headings of the Peshitta's Psalms date it to the 1st century. Many of the readings of the DSS scroll of Isaiah which differ from the Masoretic text (MT) are supported by the Peshitta which shows evidence of predating even the DSS! Re Jer 16.19 - the context of the entire chapter is about apostate Israel being cut off and expelled from the land to other nations and they are then called Gentiles. Isaiah called them SODOM and GOMORRAH (Isa 1.10). How ironic the apostates are still so lost they don’t even know it’s about THEM!! Thankfully Jeremiah announced the NEW COVENANT and said it would NOT be like the one at Sinai which was broken, for the lost sheep who have ears to hear their Shepherd, but just as the apostates rejected Jeremiah then, so they do still today. And since the Mosaic law was predicated on the Sinai covenant, with the new covenant comes a new law, which Isaiah 2.3 said comes out of Zion, not Sinai, which is the “law of Christ” (1Cor 9.21), the “law of the Spirit of life” and “law of faith” (Rom 3.27, 8.2), the “perfect law of liberty” (Jam 1.25, 2.12).

The Awaited Prophet Was to Come From Arabia: Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God’s revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa’ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. In summary we have established that Ishmael and his descendants, specifically Kedar, settled in modern day Western Saudi Arabia.Recall that Isaiah mentions Kedar in conjunction with a ‘Sela’:Isaiah 42:11 “Let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing for joy…“Whilst it’s true that Saudi Arabia represents a wide geographic region, the use of the word ‘Sela’ pinpoints an exact location. The place being spoken of is actually the city of Madinah because ‘Sela’ is the name of a famous mountain in Madinah. Madinah was the city of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) 3:187 (And remember) when ALLAH took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! In Zechariah 13:6, the JPS version translated it this way, 'And one shall say unto him: 'What are these wounds between thy hands?' Then he shall answer: 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.'' The king James Version says it this way, 'And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.' Jesus got these wounds in his hands deliberately in the house of his friends, in the house of Israel. In Isaiah 53 and in Zechariah, there are too many prophesies that agree of Christ's sufferings and Israel is just so stiffnecked. ML, read Isaiah 53, again in CONTEXT, starting with chapters 40-54. Hashem (multiple times) identifies the suffering servant as ISRAEL. Isaiah 53:1-9 are the nations speaking (This is confirmed in Isaiah 52:15) Then HaShem is speaking starting at verse 10? Isaiah 53:8, in the Hebrew, it reads, “THEY” (NOT he) So depending on whichever version you use, it should read: “for the transgression of my people (nations/non Jews), THEY (Jews) (not he) were stricken“ (KJV) (think of the Inquisition and Holocaust). The church changed it from “THEY” to “he”. Isaiah 53:10, it reads “GUILT OFFERING”; NOT SIN OFFERING. A sin offering is only for UNintentional sin. Isaiah 53:11, it talks about the KNOWLEDGE of the servant (servant = Israel, as confirmed in Isaiah 40-53). It does NOT say “blood”. Context. Know who is speaking and who is being spoken about. *Also, notice that the word “messiah” is nowhere mentioned in Isaiah 53.

Discussing Jesus with someone recently and how he is the only way. He was talking about how satan, heaven and hell were all metaphors and all sorts of new age beliefs. I told him it all comes down to the belief or rejection of what Jesus said about himself as THE ONLY WAY TO GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE. but I also realized only God can really reveal Jesus to anyone. When I was very young, and did not know God, (but He knew me), I was extremely troubled, so troubled that I went and got my Grandmother's old dusty giant family Bible from high off her bookshelf, locked myself in my room, and in tears, I cried out to God in my loneliness and despair, "Help me" I closed my eyes and flipped open the ancient book and without looking reached out and touched it to where I would read: PSALM 22 It touched me in such a personal way. The translation with "dig through" is absolutely correct. The LXX also understands the Hebrew expression in this way. »kaʾari« stands for »kaʾarim« and must therefore be understood as a kal participle active plural masculine from the root »kur«. An added thought to the subject - the four images used to describe the attackers all have piercing as the means of wounding. The dogs and lions attack with their teeth which pierce the skin. The bulls attack with the horn which also pierces the skin, as does the sword. So the resulting wound would be a piercing of the skin, just as the nails did.

The Aramaic Targum, highly authoritative with rabbis from the 2nd century (and no supporters of Christianity) uses the term for “biting.” The LXX also uses “digged” which is what a sharp instrument can do through hands and feet like a lions fang. As a matter of fact kaaru doesn’t mean anything. In other words, this word kaaru does not exist in the Hebrew language and in order to concoct a word that resembles kaaru, you would not only have to change the letter yod into a vav, but the letter alef would have to be removed altogether. This changing of the word would create the three-letter word karu (כָּרוּ) (dig) which isn't in the text. We can see these men clearly lie to promote their paganistic agenda, something that is a clear abomination to Hashem and his holy word.

Amazing insight! Also in this Psalm we see the "I am a worm (Tola'at) and no man". This crimson worm was where ancient Israel made the red dye for the Temple fabrics, the scarlet yarn and more. It was collected off of trees, dried and crushed into powder. Then the scarlet or crimson dye was made. The Tola'at would also climb up a tree one time to die, but also to give birth to it's offspring. It stuck itself to the tree and died. The spot where it died was stained red, like blood for three days. Then turned as white as snow and fell to the ground like a snow flake. Isaiah 1:18.

There is NOT A SINGLE Psalm in all of psalms written in past tense first person that is talking about a future individual. It can't be found in the rest of scripture. So Psalm 22 could not have been talking about the Messiah or it would have been written in 3rd person future tense. These "scholars" are liars!

Yes but many are deceitfully using the new covenant to bring back the old covenant (and Mosaic/Levitical laws) _In the Bible the only usage of the phrases “in the hand” and “in the foreheads” are all in the Law of Moses and refer to keeping the commandments, statutes, judgments and holy seasons or days given to Israelites in the time of Moses. The first reference is Exodus 13:9 where it states the Days of Unleavened Bread associated with the Passover were given “for a sign unto you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes [in the forehead].”_ _The word “sign” in the above verse is translated “mark” in its second occurrence in the Bible and it refers to the “mark” given to Cain (Genesis 4:15). The biblical definition of the “mark” (or “sign”) in the hand and forehead is associated with holy days on the Mosaic calendar. The next usage refers to the commandments, statutes and judgments that the Israelites were to perform when they entered the land of Canaan._ _“You shall bind them for a sign [or mark] upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes [in the forehead].” Deuteronomy 6:8_ _The third reference is similar to this and is given in Deuteronomy 11:18. The weekly Sabbath is described as such a “sign” (or MARK) in Exodus 31:12-17._ _If we let the Bible interpret the Bible then the MARK (or sign) in the hand and in the forehead of Revelation 13:16-17 refers to the keeping of the Mosaic legislation - its holy day system and regulations for the people of Israel in the land of Canaan. And this is what the Antichrist will subject the world to when he commences his reign in Jerusalem just before the true Second Advent. He will display to the world his supposed divinity, the world will accept it, he will sit himself with great ceremony in the temple at Jerusalem, and then proclaim himself the true divinity come from heaven to reside among men (2 Thessalonians 2:4)._ From "The Antichrist Will Establish the Mosaic Law" by the late Ernest L. Martin. --- _"And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were BUYING AND SELLING in the temple"_ (Mat 21.12) In Revelation 13 we have the second beast/false prophet who comes imitating the signs of Elijah to do 3 important things the rabbis expect Elijah to do: 1) Renew the Sinai covenant marriage which in the Torah came with sealing the congregation with the mark of the Name of God in the forehead and hand in dedication of thoughts and works through the Aaronic Benediction as symbolized by the tefillin (Mark of the beast); 2) restore the sacrifices which only those in the covenant could participate in with the money-changers and merchants Yeshua threw out (buying and selling); 3) regather and number the tribes in a census as in the books of Numbers and Ezra by heads of family names (number of names/number of men). These are expected by the rabbis for Elijah to perform before the arrival of their (false) messiah who will enforce the Sinai covenant marriage in defiance of the new covenant marriage announced by Jeremiah who said it would not be like the one at Sinai (Jeremiah 31). Hence, the law is for the lawless (1Tim 1.9) and we know the false messiah is also called the lawless one (2Thes 2.8).

Look up Jerusalem Post 2017 article that lets the cat out of the bag that Israel will be the capital of the nwo, titled “Israel and the unexpected new world order” All nations (‘waters’ are nations/peoples as explained in Rev 17.15) will gather to where she sits in false worship as they did at the tower of Babel, but first a traumatic global crisis must be engineered to ‘bring the world together.’

Jewish people reject the notion that Jesus is the Messiah; they are still awaiting the arrival of the Messiah. So from their perspective, the servant of Isaiah 42 stands as an unfulfilled prophecy of nearly three thousand years as their Messiah is yet to arrive. Now there is a serious issue with this understanding. We’ve already seen that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) fulfils all the criteria mentioned in Isaiah 42, so the question must be asked: why would Isaiah set out criteria that can be fulfilled by individual (Prophet Muhammad) other than the Messiah, if it is indeed the Messiah to whom Isaiah 42 refers? If Isaiah is speaking of the Messiah, then we would expect that he would set out criteria that only the Messiah can fulfil. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of prophecy in the first place, because prophecies are supposed to be specific. Because we can see from the Gospel of John (1:19-21) that the Jews were waiting for the fulfillment of 3 distinct prophecies: The Christ, The Elijah And The 3rd was the coming of the Prophet (Muhammad ﷺ. An Arabian prophet mentioned in Duetornomy 18:18 to fulfill the prophecies of Isaiah 42.) Now from the point of view of both Christians and Muslims, Jesus is indeed the Messiah. Now If we compare the characteristics of Isaiah 42 with the life and teachings of Jesus as they are portrayed in the New Testament, then the Messiah Jesus falls short in fulfilling the prophecy. For example, Isaiah 42 states that the servant will not cry out:He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. [Isaiah 42:2] This disqualifies Jesus, who complained and literally cried out directly to GOD, according to the Bible, at many points in his ministry: From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My GOD, my GOD, why have you forsaken me?”). [Matthew 27:45-46] Actually Jesus spoke Aramaic which is the language that was closely intertwined with Arabic. He said "Eli, Eli" which sounds a little like "Illa, illa" pretty much like "Illah" in Arabic A Prophet like unto Moses. There were hardly any two prophets who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad. Both were given comprehensive law code of life, both encountered their enemies and were victors in miraculous ways, both were accepted as prophets/statesmen and both migrated to (Midian/Medinah) following conspiracies to assassinate them. Both (Moses and Muhammad) enabled their followers to conquer the Palastine. The natural birth, family life and death of Moses and Muhammad (ﷺ) but not Jesus. (Peace be upon them all) 📖 Deuteronomy 18:15 Moses continued, “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brethren (your brother tribe; the Arabs).. You must listen to him. Since "from your midst" does not appear in either the ancient Greek Old Testament (the Septuagint) or the Samaritan Pentateuch, the original text must state the prophet would come from the relatives of the Israelites, the descendants of Ishmael, the Arabs. King James Bible 📖 The LORD thy GOD will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; GOD of Bible said in 📖 Duetornomy 18:20 that false prophet from their nearby brother tribe (the Arabs) must die without fulfilling the prophecies of duetornomy 18:18 as well as Isaiah 42. GOD of Bible also informed us that the true prophet (Muhammad ﷺ) from their nearby brother tribe (the Arabs) would talk about the same GOD of Moses and fulfill the prophecies of duetornomy 18:18 as well as Isaiah 42. The prophet spoken (in Deuteronomy 18:15-22) of was not to come from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, i.e. the Ishmaelites. Muhammad (ﷺ), a descendant of Ishmael, is indeed this prophet. Also,one notices from the Gospel of John 1:21 that the Jews were waiting for the fulfillment of 3 distinct prophecies: The first was the coming of the Christ. The second was the coming of the Elijah. The Third was the coming of the Prophet (Muhammad, an Arabian messenger mentioned in Duetornomy 18:15-22 to fulfill the prophecies of Isaiah 42 (Bible).
