How my Neighbor Stole Christmas started out good, got really slow (and 100 pages too long), fell flat in the middle, and ended ok. I honestly thought the sister and Max could have been a couple. I liked the illustrations and the limericks at the beginning were kinda cute. I so wanted to love it but it ended up putting me in a slump. Plus, the reason he’s mad is dumb.
