I’m so tired of creators feeling like they have to be constantly creating for us! Desi, you let us into a piece of your soul with every video…videos with heart and aesthetics take time! This is so so incredibly kind of you to say 🥹 I think for me it’s more personal. Because I know I used to be able to put out content more often before I got sick. And now it’s so much slower, and I compare myself to my past, more productive self. The KZbin algorithm does also seem to reward creators who make content more often by pushing out their videos to more new viewers. That last part made me cry actually tears. My job has changed as the small company I work for has downsized (good old UK politics), I’m waiting and waiting for a hip operation, and it has been a miserable time, but I’m trying to stay positive. I’ve registered for open university for feb and rather than sulking every day about hating my job, I’m going to do a fun and nerdy course on history and literature instead. One of the first books is a Christmas Carol and I’m so excited. I needed to hear you say all that, because sometimes we need to hear someone tell us how proud they are when things are tough. The way I started bawling when you said thank you for not giving up and that you’re so proud of me. I am within the days that I moved and expanded my business. Spending 12 hours a day setting up and moving in through a migraine, period cramps and minimal help. I’m overwhelmed and have only 6 days to do it until we re open. I stayed home from thanksgiving to get this done and this process has taken 2 years of failed contracts, design issues and construction delays. I've always struggled with winter blues as you called it althought it is more like an autumn/winter blues. I've always dreaded the cold seasons since I'm always tired, cannot get out of bed and can barely get shit done. It is getting cold, the sky is grey all the damn time, it's getting dark so early and the world around me is seemingly getting allergic to colour. But that's half the year that I just...hate. That is half my life. This year I wanted things to be different and watched all your autumn videos because I wanted to romanticize this season. The way you spoke about autumn really did something for me. If you and so many other people can enjoy autumn why shouldn't I be able to? Of course I still had bad days and I am constantly tired. But I also found a beauty in the changing leaves and learned to appreciate a relaxing walk in the cold autumn air. For the first time since I was a child I have to say: Autumn wasn't that bad. The last few days I was watching your christmas/winter videos and I don't dread winter right now. I'm actually excited to find things that I can enjoy about this new season. I'm literally tearing up while writing so I'm ending this by saying "Thank you so much."

For myself, I have to have cozy fabrics and warm, rich cozy colors like reds, dark mauve, rose pink, etc. around me, tapestries , etc so I do simple things like use different blankets and pillow covers-it doesn’t cost much, or take a lot of time to switch out, but it makes a huge difference. In the spring, I go back to cool colors like blue, but I can’t handle those cool colors in the wintertime-it doesn’t feel cozy to me, and when it’s bleak and cold outside, my soul needs cozy! Haha! Also, I hear getting morning sunshine just after sunrise does wonders to help combat the shorter days! ❤ I’m so happy for you that you’re beginning to embrace this season! You might also enjoy seasonal eating. There’s something so satisfying to me about eating foods that were ancestral to us during different seasons. Oh! Another thing-I love fall, so I keep my fall decor up for a while and sometimes don’t do Christmas until mid December, and I leave it up until mid to late January since it’s so cozy, and then I take it down and put up Valentines decor-I actually put roses on one of my little my trees! Haha! The Valentines decor carries me through until springtime in mid March. 🥰

Try a mixture of baking soda and dish soap! Make a paste, soak sweater in warm water, rub paste in and let it sit. When you put it in the washing machine, add some vinegar to the load and hopefully that works! It's what I've been doing to stains lately and it's worked!

As for the sweater, my dad owned a laundry for years and I am a stain master from working there! First, what is the sweater content? Wool, be very gentle with it. Use lukewarm warm & a wool-safe detergent and gently dab at the stain. Cotton, you can try a dish soap/vinegar/baking soda paste and let it sit and then gently clean in circles. Make sure with either method to put a towel in between the layers!! I hope the stain comes out! The sweater is so lovely ♥️🐿️

Message in then let it sit on stained area for a couple minutes and rinse off and repeat if needed.If it does not remove it completely it at least will lighten more defined stains.

I was so happy to wake up to this video this morning. I'm sitting by my fire drinking some hot tea with my Christmas tree lights on while I watch this. You seem to be doing really well with your early morning routine, fitting in a fun activity each day, and being more health conscious. Keep it up!! You always have the best collection of sweaters, and they all look so good on you with your orange hair!! To get the stain out, you could try taking it to a dry cleaners and showing them the stain. Dry cleaning can remove almost anything!

I have been following your journey almost since the beginning, and seeing you shine your light out to the world has been a blessing in my life. We are about the same age, so watching your videos make me feel like I'm catching up with a dear friend. Your words at the end warmed my soul; I am expecting my first baby, and these last weeks before my due date have been difficult as I am struggling with sickness and pregnancy symptoms. For those stained areas on your sweater, what about getting some white fuzzy yarn and duplicate stitching or embroidering over the patches. It will look like snowy places instead of stains!

I use this stain remover called Resolve Spray N Wash in a red and green bottle...I'm sure it's not the most eco friendly but it seems to get every stain out and hasn't damaged any of my clothing! I spray it on and let it sit for a few mins and then throw in the wash. Just read the label just in case! ❤ I hope that helps! I don't know if this could help you but I would watch anything ANYTHING that you post and everytime I finish one of your videos I'm impatiently waiting for the next one cause there's REALLY no one like you; the way you make me excited about anything in life is wonderfull and you're the only one that does it sooo well!
