Well, if Usyk gets robbed, then everyone will point the finger at Turki, and as a result Riyadh season will lose credibility.

The three-way call Turki Alalshikh posted reflects the fact that while he and Fury need a trilogy fight, Usyk really doesn't. Alalshikh is highly motivated by the revenue it would generate. Fury meanwhile needs the win, and wants that trilogy money. But Usyk? Usyk is the only one of the three men that could do with ending all of this in 2024. His mission is to break the circuit, kill the plan, and bow out victorious. That's what make this Saturday so interesting!

@arthurarsekey663416 сағат бұрын
They did everything they could last time. Split decision! It was 116111 Usyk. Only one judge out of three was even close. 8/4 giving Fury round 7 if youre very generous plus the 10/8

Like I said yesterday, my initial wide-eyed reaction was tempered by thinking Turkmeister was just being a fan. I'm not saying there isn't bias but I hope it doesn't impact results. One last thing, Turkis English isn't perfect so I don't parse the words too much. Cheers 🍻

Honestly who cares? It's two guys getting paid millions to punch each other in the face. Nothing noble or spiritual about it. If the guy putting up the money has a favorite, I'd rather know about it. Either way it's just boxing.
@DarnallDubois19 сағат бұрын
Feel like Turki wants the trilogy, hence the favouring Fury. Obv I don't know the guy, but I get the impression that Turki does just want the best fights, and is striving for the pinnacle in terms of boxing. He comes across as fair, even if he does have favourites. I think he genuinely just loves boxing and wants it to be pure

For a huge fight like this, there should be 5 or even 7 judges, then drop the two scores at either extreme. I still love seeing two skilled fighters giving their best in the ring, but I've been disillusioned with the fight game for many years.

They did try and fix it with one of the judges though. Thats probably all they thought they needed, and the ref was pro fury as well.

Taking everything that Usyk has said . Albeit cryptic and just his general demeanor. He said something like “im sick and tired of boxing” with a deadly smirk And taking into account how he was screwed on the judges cards last time and being aware that he is up against the boxing INDUSTRY and MEDIA here I am totally convinced that he has 100% trained to get the KO on saturday He knows enough of Fury jow to realise. That he has enough disposable ENERGY to come FLYING out the gates at Fury in an all out assaul rolling the dice and shooting his wad for the first 3 rounds and STILL he will have enough energy left in the tank if it fails I am also convinced that Fury is coming for the KO as well. Will make for a BANGER this. High stakes all time CLASSIC. In which I have Usyk stopping Fury . I have £50 on and I’ll be happy to lose coz im rooting for Fury. He just ain’t as good as Usyk though

Usyk' s his own boss. Fury has to laugh to Turki's jokes, Usyk can stand his ground. However, if Turki wants to be a king of boxing world, he should understand what the undisputed title means, and that boxing is not just his money making toy. He is offending the Undisputed Champ and he is offending a big part of the boxing community.
@Iowcatalyst17 сағат бұрын
it's not rocket surgery, the first fight was a one sided beat down by Usyk, [I gave Fury a maximum of three rounds] and yet it was split decision where all the judges had it as a close fight . The events Turkey boy has put on have been magnificent, but any time it's gone to decision it's been dodgy as fuck

Hey I love your channel and recommend it to my my friends What were your thoughts on Salvador Sanchez a bit Radom ? Wanted your opinion Also if Gerald mccalen hadn’t happened with Benn how far would he have gone ?
@joestunnerboxing8 сағат бұрын
Sanchez was brilliant, but I stop short of calling him the greatest Mexican fighter. Longevity is a factor and you can't have that if you die at a mere 23. McClellan was a terrifying puncher with excellent technique, but he needed someone to guide his talents (as we all do), and his ego meant he insisted on doing everything himself. If he'd stayed with Manny Steward, he may well have beaten Benn and go on to further greatness.

The call may well have been a bit of fun with no intentional disrespect made, maybe the fact Turki is not an English speaker, but I do wonder if a bias can creep in due to having Spencer Brown and Frank in your ear, both with a vested interest in Fury winning and then you have Eddie pushing for AJ to get yet another title shot if Fury win's, a fight he no way deserves coming off that KO loss to Dubois, these are the not so subtle signs that we have to keep in mind, even if they don't try to stiff Usyk, it's obvious what the power brokers really want.

to make the maximum money, turkey needs to make fury wins controversially, and thus, a trilogy is warranted with the maximum interest in viewership. hope this doesn't happen.
@antoniotorcoli574012 сағат бұрын
Do not underestimated Turki's mindgames, nor levantine tactics: he wants to secure the fight on the 21, whitout sudden cuts and twisted ankles postponing the fight. In order to achieve that, he made Fury his best buddy. He constantly praises him, he flatters his hypertrophyc ego. And then he wil ruthelessy feed him to Usyk . Like a lamb to the slaughterhouse.
@TheFinalBell12th13 сағат бұрын
If Usyk didn't know, he needed a KO. He does now. It was classless from Turki. He literally said "hello freak" when Usyk answered the phone and repeated a couple times after that

@JazzyJabbz19 сағат бұрын
Yeah he did call him a freak Joe I know the term is now used to mean how TALENTED someone is if the discussion is involving the sport they belong to etc But I just think. For Usyk having this translated into Ukranian will and should feel very disrespected I get how we all want our English boy to win. I do get that But i just think what Usyk has DONE is SO remarkable that….man. Imagine if an english 6ft3 cruiserweight did what he’s doing in the heavyweight division. And in an era of GIANT heavyweights as well He would be like this SUPERSTAR. Remember how lorded David BECKHAM was ?? And for NOTHING. Way below average talent as far as I was aware. But he was huge Usyk being told by the BOSS of boxing that he is ruining the plans and he is a freak I honestly think this has pissed Usyk off. Has anyone seen his media work since this call?? He seems VERY flat and stand offish . Could Turkey have actually managed to get inside Usyks head more than Fury is capable of doing? Put it another way. Imagine your country being at war and seeing what he has seen only to be told that your achievements are basically SPOILING the sport of boxing. That all your amazing successes are SPOILING things I dunno. I would usually laugh at this shit myself Joe but. Just found it proper disrespectful Am not taking it out on Fury either coz its not his fault. Fury to me seems DEADLY serious and focussed. Notice when Fury speaks that his voice goes CLEAN after a good camp? Thats how BADLY off the radar of fitness he goes in between fights I saw him speaking to deb yesterday and he sounded like he was 26 again.

I think I tend to agree with what you state here about the comments being a tad PANTO! Again, some of the meaning MAY have gotten 'lost' in translation so to speak. It doesn't give good optics or soundbites! But I believe The Excellent Turki Alalsheik KNOWS exactly what sort of tiger he has by the tail here! Usyk it would appear, is UNFLAPPABLE! Tyson got his big hands, FULL...
@JazzyJabbz19 сағат бұрын
Also. He hasnt messed up FURY AJ AJ being DEMOLISHED by Dubois has ruined that fight for me. Usyk beating both fury and aj actually LEGITIMISED the Fury Joshua fight in my opinion But with DUBOIS doing what he did to Joshua. That has just made it…. A fight i would like to see but i wouldnt get excited over it Since the dubois fight. I think the percentage of potential excitement i had for a Fury Joshua fight has gone from 100% down to like 40%

Fury winning is a better story and it makes the trilogy one of the biggest fights in heavyweight boxing history. I think he’s biased in that regard like any other fan is. Although fury is questionable at best as a human being, him winning is the more interesting outcome, usyk still isn’t fashionable as amazing as he is. But I do hope everything is fair and the best man wins. Because ultimately if Turki wants The judges and the referee to favour a certain fighter, that’s what happens. He’s the boss. Everybody in boxing answers to him at the moment

Dummy, Usyk already smashed your pretender and become Undisputed. Usyk has nothing left to prove. It's your hero that needs to prove plenty of things. And even if he wins by obvious corruption, as he has no other chance to win, his win will still be inferior, as this isn't for Undisputed, and that ship has sailed. So go home crying.

With respect Joe I believe turki believed fury would easily beat usyk in the first fight hence nothing in place. In this fight we just have to hope our fears are ungrounded but I think turki will do what he has to with the ref and judges beforehand. I’m disappointed that I’m leaning in this direction but as I said earlier he has absolute power and that definitely leads to corruption.

I hope it isn't fixed, pretty sure Usyk can beat him again, not sure if Fury being 3 stone heavier is a good idea though, it will defo be an interesting fight.
