In reality united didn’t deserve to win, whilst you lot dominated the ball you didn’t create a whole lot of chances apart from the Zirkzee header. The first two goals are terrible mistakes from Forster, Tottenham’s attack done its job the keeper let them down. With united everyone apart from Yoro, Ugarte, Kobbie & Diallo let you lot down. Bruno spamming crosses, Hojlund trying to arm wrestle with Archie gray, but worst of all Lisandro & The GK both were severely concussed. Amorim has a huge job on his hands.

People don't understand what xG means and use it to analyse the game incorrectly. xG is the percentage point that tells how likely someone is to score based on the similar shots in the past. if you held 4 from the 0.7 xG that means your whole defence line was abysmal and you conceded shots that were either from distance or really bad angles. if you have a high xG from low amount of shots that means your chances were pretty much tap ins.

United was the better team in the 1st half...eriksen has to be scoring atleast 1...we got inbehind spurs a few times and players was to slow on the ball.....it was the 2nd half for 15 mins where united players came out like they CBA and allowed spurs to just dictate the play and scored 2 quick goals..after that it was all United...both teams gifted goals..but asl yourself under ten hag we would of parked the bus and tried long ball all game to rashford nacho or rasmus..got battered on possession and spurs would of had like 30 shots...

I didn't watch the game but I laughed when I kept seeing score updates... The manager used it as an opportunity to continue giving players a fair chance and weeding out the deadwood... And holy sh*t he certainly did that against Spurs. Sure, you always want to win but if Amorim ONLY played his best most trusted players and only cared about winning, we wouldn't make any progress with figuring out this squad and making plans for the summer. I'm here for it and I'm proud of the difficult work we're doing. Keep giving these players opportunities to fail and we'll be much stronger in the long run. Edit - BTW, I'm beginning to think Martinez would be a better Ugarte-type holding midfielder than a centre back. He's got a pass and he can be a destroyer but he's a bozo in the penalty area. You can't rely on him to be the last line of defence with a cool head.
