Agreed, I mean nostalgia is a factor...but only because there are consistencies across the 1st 3 games, which established & signify/represent the true foundation/essence of what makes halo, halo Any early SWAT lover knows that reach, in large part...saw the death of the true swat maps I know it was to eliminate the possibility of camping, which should never be done in swat ...but to only take routes that reduce angles for attack/limit vulnerability, is just strategic, and good swat

I found you guys through the achievement grind videos and they're fucking great, the LASO vids are some of the best content I've seen documenting this stuff. Can totally relate to how addictive achievement hunting was on MCC specifically, I just got a Series X after switching to PS4 after the 360 era concluded, and picked up MCC with it and have been completely sucked in. To see yall work your asses off to get it done is really awesome, and to get it done in the final hours is just icing on the cake. Back in the day I played through the Halo 1 and Halo 2 campaigns in solo legendary and they took me absolutely forever to get, I cannot even imagine trying LASO.

The craziest story about MCC I have is that 1 week before I bought my xbox one in 2015 (that came with the mcc bundle) I got the "Can't Keep Him Down" achievement somehow. I had never played MCC, or even had an xbox one when I got the achievement. Truly a bizarre event.

Glad you made it. Keep an eye on the achievements because sometimes they randomly reset even after completion. I finally completed every achievement shortly after Reach was added. Then I randomly checked in last week and realized that 9 had reset….. pretty disappointed. It’s dumb achievements like assassinate 10 enemy players in Reach and headshot 10 enemies while they are sprinting ( who hasn’t done both?) . The most annoying though is the Halo CE LASO playlist achievement…

Apparently it's possible to get a wraith in Lone Wolf playing co-op that, with the tilt skull on, is nigh invincible, but it has very tight timing for getting it, which is what I intend to do to get it

In the beginning of mcc i wasnt much interested in multiplayer so for all matchmaking achievements i actually borrowed a second xbox and used 8 controllers to boost with myself. However after reach i really got the hang of multiplayer and enjoyed it that much, that I propably would have gotten most of them by now.
