I was a teen in 89, bought a bunch of boxes and packs of Fleer and never pulled the Ripken. Figured out later on that the bulk of them were resealed, the wrappers had a brown singe on bottom from an iron. Bought most from the same grey-hair old guy dealer, I still remember his face. He knew.

It was my experience that, one box of 1989 Fleer would usually net you nearly one complete set. Their collation was usually pretty spot on.
