The true profit are the cards we find along the way.

Steve Howe was the NL ROY in 1980 and ended up being the poster boy for "one last chance" during the late 80s and into the 90s. That 81 Topps of his might get you a buck or 2.

I bought an Allen and Ginter pack of cards. I got a Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig and Stan Musial

The wax game is all about hoping for a PSA 10 (or 9 in the early 80s cards). But, if you can find 1-2 Gem grades per wax box, you can make great money. Easier said than done tho. The raw value is not worth it, especially when you’re putting up cards for sale that clearly will not gem. The only exception is pre-70s vintage.
@RobOpensWax6 күн бұрын
You are not finding gem grade. Look at 89 UD griffey, 100,000 of the card have been submitted, but only 4,000 10s. Or 84 mattingly... 20,000 submissions with only 900 tens. Older cards did not have the production standards of today. Cards out of the pack are damaged, off center or printing defects. Banking on a ten will leave you very disappointed.

I have about half a million 35-62 cent cards apparently I will gladly sell for a dime each …. Think of the value folks!

Bro really? Neither one of those packs were actually sealed, go back watch how they just magically open without any effort or sound……and the dead give away for the 1981 pack is you just flip on the package with zero effort or sound….you always plan it…..……next time actually do the rip with actual non-staged packs…..I mean we get it, it’s not must see tv when you actually do it, because it wouldn’t make for an impressive video, like this one…..got one of the best cards for 1989 Fleer & the best card for 1981 topps…..what are the odds?! 😅….when you stack the packs the odds are 100%
@RobOpensWax4 күн бұрын
I want to clarify that I never stack packs. Every pack I open is sealed and comes directly from my personal collection, including three full boxes of 1981 Topps and some loose packs from the same year along with a case of 1989 fleer. If you watch my videos(around 2000 of them), you’ll notice that only about 3 percent of the packs I open contain hits, which aligns perfectly with the actual odds. Maintaining authenticity and integrity is incredibly important to me. They are not stacked packs.
