Did we ruin a brand new Toyota GR86?

The brand new Checkerd Sports GR86 gets tore down, maybe a little more than expected for this mild build. We start planning for roll bar, seats and some other goodies. We give you a sneak peak at some product development.
Some people think the car is ruined, we could care less. At the end of the day, it's just a car! Life is too short to leave cars sitting around and not have fun with them.

How come you don’t progressively build after you benchmark stock lap times. To see how much you get out of all this? Would be interesting

Originally that was my plan, but realistically with being short on time and weather lately, I only make it to the track few times a year. So I decided to just build it how I want and call it a day 😂 I also street drive my cars too, and no one wants to drive around stock for long 😂.

@@checkerdsports lol I feel it. Plus you’ll only get so fast. I’d imagine if you have experience already it would be boring fast to play around stock. I’ve never owned rwd until now so I’m trying to max out my skill level before modding her

@@NightKidBrandon That is for sure the way to do it. On this car though I can tell you right off the bat before even going to the track, the tires were ehhh and the brakes are not the best either. The coolant might be questionable too, might change radiator to CSF aluminum one.
