just for a little bit of clarification, the light represented that daki was deemed worthy to go to the realm of buddha as it represents the thing all humans should sought for, while the flames are not the flames of hell but of rebirth, if not deemed worthy you have to get reborn and "try again", thats why she went with gyutaro to be able to be reborn again as brother and sister.

Gyutaro was the one who agreed to become demons and he didn't regret his decision (because saving his sister is his only priority). But Daki only wanted to live. And she didn't like to work as a prostitute when she was alive , she only stabbed the samurai because he was insulting Gyutaro and (from the looks of it) he tried to force himself onto her. That must be why she had the option to go to heaven, because she regretted being what she is now and only wanted to live.

As a manga reader, am not going to spoil, but that guy's name is Douma, the demon we saw here in the last episode who gave them blood. Since Gyutaro and Daki took on the rank of upper six, he's now upper 5 I think. We should see him later on in like season 5,4,or 3! I hope this helped!
