Wow, that is one nice gtr. I have a starla ang love the way it plays and sounds. It was set up perfectly at the time. I've dialed it in and gotten really great tone and sustain that has a place tonally unique and very addicting. I always gravitate to that gtr.

Body & neck are joined without screws. Is it a solid piece of wood.

Probably a set neck. Usually a two piece guitar. But is usually considered better than a bolt on neck.

Set neck, glued. If properly made, almost no difference to a neck-trough (one piece) design. The whole body vibrates together in a way that the bolt-on ones couldn't give you back. Really good designs. But sorry, for some reason I just can't like the PRS. The headstock or I couldn't explain, but somehow not for me if I can be personal.

Funny! I had a 509.. the day I sold it (mint), I pocketed $200 bucks. What a beauty, but tone wise.... ech.....could never gel with that guitar.

Not a fan of that burst, and they should abandon the double-staining technique pronto. It’s the worst thing they ever started doing to beautiful figured maple tops. It kills the 3D ripple effect.

The guitar in the video has a ‘set neck’…..the guitar is glued into a pocket on the body. If you want to see a “one piece” guitar, Google ‘neck thru’ guitars. (Also, ‘neck through’).
