Looks like a black Les Paul Custom

I have a serious question. what does custom shop mean? Does that mean that the guitar doesn’t have any flaws? Because right now I have a 2018 gibson les Paul classic Ebony P 90s. It has a terrible unfinished blemish where the neck joint is on the body. I went on the eBay and looked at other guitars on there for sale, many of them have the same amateur looking job on the neck at the body joint. I put a video on KZbin pointing that out.. many of the people that responded to my video said, that is a common quality control issue with gibson.. So my question is, if I buy a custom shop gibson les paul, does that mean it won’t have any blemishes in the finish?

It means it was built in Nashville TN at the Gibson Custom shop. More of a hand built guitar and highly sought after (just read the other comment reply, dripping with jealousy).

Gibson is under new quality control as of a few years ago. I've heard a lot about the quality control issues and waited until last year to buy my first Gibson. I'm almost 100 percent sure that the problem was fixed.

There are finish issues on the guitar in this video (the back has “blushing”) As someone who (in my daily work life,) unboxes Gibson guitars of every price point and from every factory, I can confidently say that their qc issue has not improved one bit these last few years. If anything, has gotten exceptionally worse. Is that the case for every instrument they sell? Of course not. But if we were to go unbox any random Gibson together, I’d feel pretty confident in saying there’s likely to be a finish issue with it.

They do, they are called epiphones. Looks exactly like a Gibson and Epiphone is a Gibson subsidiary so, it's close.

Mine was all jacked up after three months of barely playing it. There were spots all over the nitro and micro scratches..the hardware was fading and that was with me wiping it down every time I played it. They're pretty but they make them extremely fragile. Not worth the price tag..

I'm curious if the owners of this shop ever read the comments on KZbin and share them with their distributors. The quality control in this guitar is just embarrassing, and it's not doing Gibson any favors to send guitars out like this to boutiques that run KZbin channels.
