@@JimboPernetti no, it depends what age you are. 11-13 year old (12u) girls pitch from 40 ft, once you move up to 14u (13-15) and onward, the distance is 43 feet.

@@Lostbeams I am not talking about girls Fastpitch. This is referring to men’s. And to get technical men’s tournaments are played at 46. Not 43. However because not every field is set up for men’s fastpitch, we played on a variety of distances.

Played both baseball and currently play mens fastpitch at the highest level and can confirm, fastpitch is a lot harder than baseball, mainly bcos of riseballs and also partly bcos u have less time to react to the ball. Also the distance isnt the same, 46 feet for men, 43 for women

@@bendavison7750 can confirm it is definitely more difficult especially the reaction time. And yes it’s 46 at regulated tourneys and leagues, but I’ve played many times on 43 because the fields weren’t set up for 46. I should have clarified that.

They just made a rule allowing us to be able to crow hop. I know this because so many coaches couldn't hit off our pitcher, so they recorded her and its leagal

I don’t think the women can crow hop yet. They don’t have to drag their toe anymore but I believe they are still not allowed to replant before they throw.
