Thanos could have done a lot of things to end any threat to him, but the idea was that he has a singular vision. He would fight if needed to, but he wasn't interested in conquering anyone. Iron Man was supposed to be ripped in half down the middle, and then the bloody insides poured out of the two halfs of the suit. This was changed to something less gruesome, but they wanted to retain the emotional impact of this event in the comic books. Erasing Iron Man with the infinity stones, was the least gruesome solution. And that's the meaning.

I went to school for graphic design and we were making logos then we had to show them to the class to see what they thought it was and what it represents. You as the maker know what you were doing and know it is NOT that deep, but my classmates were so deep into it… they would give TOO deep answers and in my head I was like “that’s not that at was aiming for at all”. People will make things deeper than what they are and REACH for things that aren’t there. That was the point of the presentation tho.

if Thanos indeed did all those for that, Strange could easily rewind time to the point before he did. we know that time stone is powerful enough to "recreate" the mind stone. so rewinding a stone's activation is something it can do too

Exactly. It wouldn’t have mattered how he killed him. The time stone is extremely powerful. It would just rewind the death, regardless of the way Thanos killed him, even if he used the stones to do it.
