Gibralfaro is a hike😘🤜. And you pronounced it correctly🤛👍. Spent there wintermonths with tons of sun, the christmas lights and cribs, belèn. And Cabalgato, the King's parade, kind of 2nd christmas in Málaga. Awesome❤❤❤. And the rooftop bars are open in winter as well, La terazza Hotel Valeria, La terraza de la Alcazaba and, most famous, the Roof Top AC of Malaga Palacio. But there are much more where you don't have to queue😉

Casa Lola is the best tapas bar in the whole of Malaga. They have three branches now, all great but the one you went to is the best.

When I stayed in Malaga, wished I had stayed in the areas you showed. We were by the coast, and off a highway. We couldn't walk to many places. We needed a car for everything. I will know better for next time.

Hi there. I suppose it depends what you compare to. There are a lot of gluten free options in the super market, but not all restaurants cater for that, unfortunately. I googled “restaurantes sin gluten en Málaga” and got a few suggestions. You could try that. Let me know if you try a good option. Happy travels!
