Hi mate love the work, wondering if you can help me. I’ve just watched your video on the easy laser trip alarm and looking to make the same. I’m not 100% sure on all the parts I need although there briefly listed in description 👍

I suggest to try to generate static electricity and try these displays with it. 😉

Can you fix ghosting/fading on e-ink screens (kindle and kobo readers)with this method or any other way? Lot of e-ink reader owners face this problem and currently there is no definite solution I could find on the internet. That ghosting/fading of screen happens after being kindle/kobo readers kept not using for a awhile. Fading happens from corners of screen and it sperads. It's temperature sensitive. It's reversible for few minutes after keeping your kindle in a freezer for a awhile. But fading returns back after kindle comes back to room temperature. Since that problem is reversible to some extent I think there should be a fix. Resetting the e ink distribution to before. I had thought of this method but afraid to fry up my only kindle. Can you please look in to that problem?

If the lighter has a push button like that can it be assumed to be a piezoelectric lighter? Also did you have to add that jumper wire?

I also saw this short video, I wonder how long the whole thing works (i.e. whether the number will work again permanently afterwards or whether it only looks like this for a short time)
