What do you like better for showering with. Lavender or rose? I just finished my lavender one and love it before bed I’m trying almond now but I don’t love it enough to be honest. May need to go back to lavender and try the rose one

I'm currently loving the Rose scent more than lavender. The Rose leaves a beautiful light floral scent on your skin. Very feminine. I think you'll love it. Both the Rose & Lavender are my fave for showering with.

Is it safe to use a few drops on a wet cloth on the private areas or dilute it more for shower usage?

Dr. Bronner’s is not the best private area wash, but it is a good option when you’re in a pinch. I love and recommend all washes by NeNe FemHealth. Dr Bronner’s is best diluted very well if you use it on your private area. This brand is strong and will dry out the sensitive skin of your vulva if you don’t dilute well enough. There are instructions on the back but you can dilute until you reach a potency that cleanses you well without stripping your skin. Also, I don’t use a wash cloth on private area. A few drops on your hand is good. Just take your time and cleanse gently and well. Wash clothes are tricky for private area cleansing cause they hold bacteria. Especially if you use it on other area of your body.

The bar soaps are definitely way stronger. I personally use the dr bronners unscented baby bar for my whole body wash because it really cleanses me. I would use the dr bronners baby unscented bottle it's the most gentle one.

Our skin and vulva are acidic and this is high alkaline. As a master esthetician I do not recommend Castile soap bar or liquid for skin use, especially not for private parts.

Thank you for watching and and commenting. What would you recommend instead? As you know, all natural soaps are basic by nature. And water is not enough to cleanse the body of dirt & harmful bacteria. Dr. Bronner’s is not my first recommendation for an intimate wash but it does work very well in a pinch, especially when well diluted like the instructions say. And because it is all natural, it is a great option opposed to others in stores. But I and others would love to hear your recommendations.

@@dizmaddness8946 NeneFem Health intimate washes are amazing and always my first recommendation. They are all pH balanced and specially formulated for the vulva and private area. My current fave is the intimate gel wash as it’s great for sensitive skin.

@@SylvieTheButterfly Cerave, sebamed or eucerin bars or body washes, for skin and or private parts as these are acid based and will not interrupt the acid mantle. Unscented Dove is also great for lady parts. White vinegar diluted is also great for lady parts. (Spray bottle). 🙂

@@lisarose-iv7cx I did a quick research of all the ingredients the products you listed. Those ingredients should not go anywhere near the vulva. The vulva is very sensitive & has the most absorbant skin tissues. Those soaps may have been created to be acidic but are not all natural and nontoxic; they will throw of the vaginal pH and cause problems over time. You mentioned that you are an aesthetician. Thank you for watching and commenting. I value your input and appreciate you starting this much needed conversation. However, unless you or anyone else extensively studies the female reproductive system and focuses on products that will not over time cause adverse effects to the female reproductive system, please do stick to your area of expertise. This is about more than just skin. These products may feel okay when first used but overtime, who knows what a woman may deal with because she uses them. Many woman are already dealing with womb & female reproductive organ issues due to using and eating products that are not healthy for their womb. Dove and those soaps you listed are not meant to be used as a vulva wash. A quick research of the ingredients listed shows that. Vinegar is very acidic is not meant to be used as a vulva wash. Vinegar is literally used to ferment and break the tissue of plants to make things like pickles. Imagine how it may affect the vulva and the smell is not going to make a woman feel beautiful. Out of everything you listed, Dr. Bronner’s and other all natural nontoxic soaps is still the best option compared to them. My recommendation for vulva and private area washes are the NeNe Fem Health washes from nenefemhealth.com. I am in no way affiliated with the company but they make amazing all natural, plant-based, nontoxic products formulated specifically for the vulva. Dr. Bronner’s is only for emergency uses when you can’t find anything else that is all natural, plant-based, and nontoxic. Dr, Bronner’s must be properly diluted so it does not dry out your skin. Follow instructions carefully and always research the ingredients in your products. Please also make sure to visit your OBGYN with any reproductive issues you may be experiencing. Ask for their opinion on nontoxic all natural options and also do your own research to find on products as well as OBGYNs that are great.

Yes outside only!!! Only your vulva and booty area needs to be cleansed with all natural, nontoxic washes. Washes should not be put into your vagina. Putting soap in your vagina will throw off your vaginal pH & cause major issues.
