you saved me alot of time after i realized the 3way EMG switch wont fit in my guitar cavity and i was considering tearing the PCB off of it to make it fit, i took the switch out of an old strat copy pickguard and found it was a reversible alpha, thank you alot for the PSA

You haven't explained the advantage of a 3 way switch. A quick tip, whenever using an open blade, such as any knife, always cut away from yourself, particularly your other hand.

3 way switch in a telecaster which has 2 pickups rather than 3

Which terminals would you wire for a three way, Malko?

you use both sides of the switch for a 3 way (as in for 2 pickups like a tele) hard to explain without a diagram but if you put 1 pickup to the first 2 terminals and the other pickup to the last 2 then combine the middle 2 as your output it will work
