ngl I started playing softball 3 weeks ago I was so surprised I made JV !! I fell in love with the sport and my practice dose not end at the field I’m practicing out side of school and trying to gain more knowledge on the sport to make me a better player!

Great topic. I have a 12 year old daughter who's interested in playing softball for the first time. We have a local rec season starting in late January. I plan on getting her stronger with some of the exercises in your strength post. Do you recommend we devote more practice on hitting or fielding? Or is it 1/3 strength, 1/3 fielding, 1/3 batting. Thanks.

at 12, worry less about strength and more about skills. 80% skills - fielding, throwing, hitting, 20% strength

i played softball from 4th grade to 6th and stopped. now i’m about to go into 9th grade and kinda wanna play again but my parents are kinda put me down on it. i just wanna know if i kinda have a good chance to join back in.

Amongst certain cultures we get introduced to other sports... myself and a bunch of other dudes left soccer and fell in love with softball all of us at 25+... we needed alot of ground to cover.. all this is true... more for younger people trying to get into school stuff. But still useful 👌 for everyone!
