Hey quick question how tall is this build I want to build this on a hill but I fear it might hit build limit?
@DiddiHD Жыл бұрын
@@AlphaModSquad I think it is not higher than 60 Blocks
Note to people building this in survival (I am currently doing so and I will update this comment as I find new things y'all should know): - Have scaffolding, it makes it so much easier to complete the build especially when you have to go high up to place blocks - Have an infinite water source very close by, part 1 of this video needs that for quite a few blocks - The materials list is slightly inaccurate, and listed below is the additional materials (on top of the provided materials list) you will need to acquire: *62 cobbled deepslate slabs *6 cobbled deepslate *128 oak planks *108 deepslate tile stairs (not cobbled deepslate stairs...the creator of this video forgot to include this item as a whole in the materials list) - A majority of the 2426 dirt blocks are used to fill in the base of the temple at the bottom so any block can be used, or if you don't want to gather that many of any block, you can light the area instead to avoid mobs spawning down there - After finishing the build, brightly light the ground floor because there are several areas where the light level is below 8 (mobs can spawn at light levels below 8) to avoid any uninvited guests in your temple :) - I found that I was left with a couple extra oak planks and spruce planks once I finished the build, and I am quite confident I did not mess up anywhere or deviate from the build tutorial, so if you finish the build and also have a few of those extra planks, don't worry about it - Finally, I finished the temple today and all I can say is wow! Definitely worth the days I spent working on it, and I wanna give a back thanks to DiddiHD, this build is beautiful...respect.

Previously I would like to express my admiration for the work of buildings that you make, after watching some of your videos, I was wondering how you made them, did you take references from a place in the real world and then implement the construction in Minecraft (especially in this Japanese temple video), or all the idea of the building just crossed your mind and just made it? To be honest, that's what made me curious. I can't wait for the latest works that you make.
@DiddiHD Жыл бұрын
The inspiration for my buildings comes mainly from trial and error and less from templates or artwork. For example, castles and medieval buildings just come out of my thoughts. This Japanese temple, for example, also came about during a trial and error process, but basically I have seen real pictures of what the building style looks like. Generally speaking, you can say that you have seen various buildings from your reality and these come to mind subconsciously during the building process, but I am actually a guy who designs everything by simply trying things out.... so with more complex buildings it can take a few attempts until I have created something that I like haha😂

I used blackstone and deep slate blocks to make the foundation rather than stone. I also fucked up the foundation a little but It doesn’t really matter I think it was 31x31 though it did allow me to add a few extra details with a bit of lichen. Right under the stairs I wanted to purposefully add some kind of treasure so I placed netherite under the stairs but overall with the minor fuckups the building is symmetrical mostly outside and the center is symmetrical. I also substituted spruce logs for mangrove to give it the red color to make it pop. Since I built the temple over my previous build that I edited out and left the foundation buried. Im on part 2 of building it. Just like bob ross always says “We don’t make mistakes, just Happy Little Accidents”
@DiddiHD Жыл бұрын
But very cool that you implemented the building with your own ideas. A few mistakes or inconsistencies are normal and not bad at all. Now you have built a unique building even with a tutorial😅
