No, Diddy paid the front desk off with 50k. Cassie said that in the lawsuit. Diddy had the tape but then, he got raided. The reason why it was just now released is because when his Miami crib got raided- they confiscated it. And it was released by someone who had access to the evidence collected in that raid.
