Mase had left Bad Boy around May 1999 12) Duets, the final chapter. Another biggie album released in 2005.. 13) 18 years later, Diddy is worth more than half a billion dollars. Are you starting to get the pattern? Every time Bad Boy experiences some sort of funk, Diddy turns to exploit Biggie to bring it back to life again. Born Again and Duets were horrible albums. They basically copied & paste tracks from biggie's previous albums. I am not to sure if this was Diddy's plan all throughout the years, or if he made up 6 months to a year before biggie's death. Find an artist, build him up enough to create your label, get him killed in his prime, and use his death to maximize profit. This was so incredibly thought out he had to be planning this shit out way before he met biggie. Biggie just so happened to be the target because he was the most successful. His plan was solely revolved around the shootings of Tupac. Maintain innocence, create fake death threats and blame them on people who thought Biggie had something to do with Tupac's death. If people believed Diddy ordered a hit on Tupac, who would they kill in revenge? Biggie... Not Diddy. The fact that he released his first single in January 7, 1997 was no coincidence. That shady asshole knew Biggie was gonna dead. Biggie's died on March 9th, 1997. That day also marks the birth of Diddy's rapping career.
