I love the juxtaposition of their interactions with 2 of the Sins on the same night. Ozzy and Fizz throws themselves into Blitzo's business, airing his personal shit for shits and giggles. Bee sees his shit, but has Loona check on him because she knows it's not her place to do so. And she's never antagonistic until Loona is first.

Ke$ha had a very abusive producer at the time that this ep was in the making. That producer wouldn’t let her show in helluva boss. Ke$ha is now free from that producer though and isnt being controlled like a puppet anymore, giving her the freedom to finally play Bee-lzebub.

The copyright problem was that since Ke$sha write “Cotton Candy” the company she was suing would own it. So they couldn’t release it until the lawsuit was settled. Now that it is, boom. It can come out and who owns Cotton Candy? Well, not her old record label. There was also the issue of her using her singing voice. Even though Kesha voices the Bee, she couldn’t sing Cotton Candy (notice in the credits, it wasn’t performed by Kesha)

Honestly, Kesha was a surprisingly good voice actor. Not sure why, but I wasn't expecting that. Also, it looks like Viv's Die Young fan film is no longer listed on her channel (for reasons probably involving the whole 'getting Kesha to voice' stuff). From what I've heard, the copyright problems were because of the issues around Kesha (who voices Bee) and has nothing really to do with HB. As I understand it, Kesha's manager and label were doing some sketchy stuff and trying to claim/steal ownership of all her stuff. Kesha's work on this episode should have been separate from those issues but they delayed the release of this episode until certain legal things could be clarified. As least that's my understanding.

Bee is... well an awesome character, Love the fact that while she feeds of the energy of her party goers she makes sure they're actually enjoying their time and cares when they're having some kind of issue while at her parties. Don't forget that Bee can see the vibe her guests give and that whole interaction with Loona when they first meet was likely planned by Bee to loosen Loona up. Because she seems like such a Fan favorite I fear for what the internet will do too her considering all the "material" that was shown.

Unfortunately, iirc, sinners don't get to go to these places. They are restricted to the one level of hell seen in Hazbin Hotel (hence the constant overcrowding problem). The other levels are reserved for natural hell-borne creatures, like our imps, hellhounds, etc.

But suspecting it used to be Sinners ended up in which ever ring fit their main sins, but for some reason, either because human sin can be argued to all come from pride, or a deal between the seven sins to clear out the sinners and keep them suffering they would all be crammed into one ring.

@@TheRhuen The reason why sinners are only in pride rings is that they are powerful and immortal, and having them in one place it makes easier for heaven to purge them. Oh did I forget to mention Lucifer made a deal with his Father the god and Michael the Archangel, and that is why only blessed weapons can permanently kill sinners, and answered how the lower demons can possess said weapons is through sinners killing some exorcise angel during extermination every new year. Vivz and the crew said this a long time ago in their Q&A stream

I kinda enjoy Bee's sentiment over Blitz, she said she could literally taste the flavor of the people's vibe at her party and I feel like she could immediately sense that Blitz wasn't there to get drunk and have fun but rather to drink out his emotions over the night he had getting called out and also rejecting our beloved precious borb boi Stolas. And she didn't like just straight up profit off of his emotional distress like the other Sin Heads like Fizz and Ozzie. But also like I get where Loona is comin from because her whole life its been fight for everything you can get and suddenly people just treat her like normal and be nice and say "I respect that." which I 100% believe is just a straight up trauma response that not many people pick up on because you cant just flip your mental instincts over like that and I really appreciate that they are making her reactions realistic from the stuff she's been through.

Kesha wasn't the one singing. At the time of recording, I believe she wasn't allowed to be the singer, which was part of the legal issues with the episode, so she wrote the song instead.

There is a version where she did but that’s why it was delayed for so long. Her old production company she was in legal spats with was tied to it and wanted a piece of it. They had to redo the singing and they waited for the court case between Kesha and her producer to nearly be over. That’s what took so long. It’s not Kesha or Viv’s fault.

Hey. First time here in the comments. Apologies for the long essay. That's just how I do. This episode was meant to be a special endcap representing the Viviane's journey to this point. While Viv had doodles and concepts for characters that would later become synonymous with Hazbin Hotel since high school and her Zoophobia webcomic, her first step into realizing her dream was with her animated Music Video of "Die Young". Thanks to it's success is what pushed her forward into making Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. Looking back Viv said she always wanted to work with Kesha specifically to call back to that first leap into animation. This episode was a significant call back to Die Young but with a significantly larger budget for animation, very much making a "then vs now" or "first step vs season finale for her first show" The reason for the delay was that Kesha was tied up legally with her former producer. Meaning she couldn't release anything until everything settled. And while Kesha didn't perform "Cotton Candy" (it was done by Rochelle Diamante doing her best Kesha impression) it was still co-written by Kesha. As for the character of Queen Bee-lzebub, she was heavily inspired by JayJay from Zoophobia. She's one of the 7 Deadly Princes of Hell, ruling over Gluttony. Based on her sigil in the club, she may very likely be a King (or Queen) of the Ars Goetia due to having the same sigil as King Baal (who is sometimes interpreted as the same being as Beelzebub in various writings). This Princess of Gluttony/Queen of Ars Goetia would mirror Asmodeus who is the Prince of Lust/King of Ars Goetia. Making her as powerful as Ozzie and more powerful than Stolas' father Paimon who is just a King of the Ars Goetia.

I find it interesting that Beelzebub is a hellhound, given what we've seen of hell's social hierarchy. Rings one, two, and three, Pride, Greed, and Lust, seem to be the highest social ranking in order (with Lucifer at the top) though we haven't met Mammon yet. But Gluttony is the 5th ring - and Beelzebub isn't treated with any special status, she's just a hellhound that throws great parties, powers aside. And hellhounds are just above imps socially, who seem to make up most of Wrath, the 6th ring, even if they exist in the other rings. Which begs the question, what could be socially below imps, down in Sloth?

There's an interesting contrast there between Tex & Bee vs Blitzø & Stolas... Both Tex and Blitzø are among the lowest-rung denizens of Hell, while Stolas and Bee are among the highest... Yet, while Stolas faced ridicule at Ozzie's, Bee's relationship with Tex appears to be, well, accepted and embraced.

"Queen Bee of Gluttony" and the name "Queen Bee Lzebub" - She's a dog/fox and bee hybrid (hence the 4 arms and the wings) and she's the "Queen Bee" of her "hive" called the Gluttony ring. I know we met Angel Dust first, but I highly doubt he's the only four armed demon in this version of hell. I also doubt Bee and Dust will be the only one's the fandom that draws loads of R34 art of. EDIT: A second thought. Angel Dust has Spider influences in his design. Beelzebub is well, a Bee. Does that mean we will see a Scorpion demon in the future?
