@@CrazyLampLady That’s how it started for my mom, and grew into her owning her own store & a huge home full of goodies. She even eventually got in to selling high end antique fishing lures, and was always on the hunt for the elusive Comstock Flying Hellgrammite lure, worth over $10,000. Lol She also loved metal detecting, & I loved going out with her on those adventures when I was little. That’s why I love your channel so much & can really relate. She would’ve loved you - she passed away in 2015.

I didnt know what marano was until I stumbled upon this channel a while back. Me being a collector of all things glass and unique, I've discovered that I own a rare marano fish. I think I paid 2$ for it. I rarely pay full price for any of my pieces. The thrill of the hunt and now kinda knowing what I'm looking at helps a lot. Thank you!!! 😊

Omg I have a exactly same big owl hamper with linen laundry bag inside!!! Got it from good will 3 yrs ago at $15!!! My 4yrs old son’s first word was owl sound oooh oooh. So i had to get it. I’ve been using it as storage for stuffed animals in his room. And it is stunning!

The Owl Hamper is Awesome... you do not need to haul it up and down the stairs just use a separate gathering basket.... The kids would love the owl!!!! I love your videos... one comment, my aging eyes have a bit of a time keeping up with how fast you're going sometimes. I find myself amazed at how many things you see and comment on that I have in my belongings. I love to hear you talk about any of the items you see even if you do not purchase them. I learn so much from you and Andrew. My dad and Andrew would get along so well. At only half a century + old I am amazed that so many things I played with or saw in homes growing up are now considered Vintage.... The older I get the younger OLD is. Great finds. As always, thanks for the education! Also, you often mention you pull out your blue and white glass for winter decor. I usually do some kind of snowflakes with twinkle lights, etc. This year I did purpose to add my blue and white glass. Thanks for the suggestion. It is lovely.

I love the Blenko decanter. My mom had one in crackle blue. My brother and I broke it at the stopper, 50 years ago! I bought her a replacement in tangerine, from the daughter of the designer years later.

The blue artglass vase that you picked up at 5:20 looks like the work of the iconic Norwegian glass artist Benny Motzfeldt for the glassworks factory Randsfjord Glassverk. I have a very similar vase in just a different shape, but the same texture, colors and bubbles. It is also the same underneath. Her work for this factory were seldom marked on the glass however, just a with a paper label. If you google Benny Motzfeldt and Randsfjord you can see more of her work. :)

I have struggled with how to pronounce "sgraffitto" too, and I finally Googled it today. (Did you know there are videos on KZbin that teach you how to say words!!) It sounds like the G is pronounced like the C in scrub. So, now we both know how to say it ! I love your videos and I know you have a limited time to show items. In Magpie Market there is a cast iron Boston Terrier doorstop/bank that I've seen twice now. If it is a Hubley made in Lancaster PA (1894-1910 ish) it could be a good find depending on price. There are many Boston Terrier fans
