What an amazing turnout! You and Jocelyn (and Kat and lots of other KZbin resellers) are a huge part of why so many have new or renewed interest in vintage and antique! Your respect for theses pieces of the past and the way you ensure they are valued (not only monetarily but the emotional connections too) is to be admired. Always love your videos George!

Your videos and JE were fabulous! I was blown away by all the attendees. But, I shouldn't be. You guys "put yourselves out there". You shop , do shows, participate in your communities, and put out very entertaining and informative videos. You have a tremendous work ethic, are REAL, and are always nice and polite. JE has availed herself and her legal team just like a ferocious Mama bear when any of her friends are threatened by a thief of content. I'm glad Dagny participated as she represents another aspect of shopping and selling. She is a hoot and very endearing. As for Andrew, he represents a whole other dimension of knowledge. He represents both the Rev and Civil War with a tremendous amount of knowledge. As Americans, we don't know much about our history. And, George, you give all of us military brats a good name.

I live in nearby Maryland and with a reseller friend, drove over to Lemoyne in hopes of meeting Jocelyn to say HI. I have watched CLL videos for a couple of years now and am a fan. I hadn't even really discovered your vids yet, George. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, the line was so long, we needed to eat and wanted to have time to look around before it got so late, so I gave up. My friend Grace, who is a spry 95 year old lady, and yes, a dealer with a long-time booth where I've been for only a few months (Emporium Antiques of Old Town Gaithersburg) just sat up front at the tables and chatted with whomever, since she can't walk that much. And wouldn't you know, Grace told me that Jocelyn and maybe Dagny (?) (so nice too,) came up to the table where she was and was talking with one of the other people sitting there. I was off still looking around and so missed her again. Drats! 😣Oh well, another time! And now I'm really enjoying the heck out of your vids too! Thanks, George! #CrazyLampLady

The Fenton handle signature is the signature of the person that applies the handle only! Each step in the production from blowing the glass to the mold to crimping to handle to hand painting is all done by a different person that specializes in that part of the process! Each piece of glass is handed off many multiple times. Luckily the handle makers were able to leave their mark as where others were not!
@TheAntiqueNomad2 жыл бұрын
That is true! I do recall that they had different skills in the hot shop so the handle appliers had the advantage there

Hi! The 1930 wall sconces you looked at in the mall match exactly two sconces on my fireplace that came w my 1909 house!! I absolutely love them and always wondered if they were as old as the house or from a bit later. How exciting! 😊💞

Hi George! Wow, that appraisal fair was crazy loud! The male cameo was super-nice. I really liked that odd-shaped Nippon bowl, with the butterfly. There were a couple of what looked to be low pedestal tables, against the wall, in the booth with the sign with your name on it, that caught my attention. I liked the look of those. I think I would've had to have bought the 1930's wall sconces. Those were nice. I liked the doorknob escutcheon plates the aluminium alligator was setting on. That mall was really loaded with items, and there was a lot there that caught my eye. There were several of the spaces that could've easily taken an hour each to film. Thanks for the tour!!!
