I was 21 when this was finally released here in the UK in early 2001... Memories of doing two jobs (accounts assistant by day, barman in a nightclub) - this was massive on UK radio that year, and it used to play regularly on the late night show while I lounged around in my bedsit after work, reading science fiction and fantasy books 📚 and getting drunk 🍺🍻🥂🍾🍸🍹🍷 as often as possible... Innocent days... Had forgotten what a beautifully eerie, haunting tune it was... Revisiting it now as a 43-year-old with an 11-year-old son on the night of Boxing Day after a busy Christmas, relaxing alone for a while, playing it with the lights off with a coffee ☕️ and brandy 🥃, with a wood fire burning... Absolute bliss! This song hits completely differently 22 years on... Pure magic!

I remember back in the day when Dido was very popular when she did ‘Here with Me’, ‘Thank You’, ‘White Flag’ and of course ‘Stan’ with Eminem, all of them are timeless classics and Pop Music was good back then. Strange as it may seem when our mind hears the sounds of music can suddenly change our feelings in an instant into another dimension taking us to another place back in time then touches our heart making the memories come alive just once more amazing as it all seems lost for words only thoughts to linger with us until we leave this world ... Good memories for sure... I cried listening to this on the bus I was literally overwhelmed with emotions. Such a feel-good nostalgic vibe. Such a freaking nostalgia attack.... that hearing this after all of these years. It gives me so many shivers... Dido is saving my life right now.. Mental health is a complex thing and isn't a joke and you never know when someone is at their lowest point in life and just needs someone or something to take away that suffocating feeling of impending depression but just remember that no matter who you are or what you've done someone will always care about you whether they are in your life or not and there is always something you can do to try and turn things positive again.. Don't let yourself become another waste of life, everyone on this earth is equal and your life is just a precious from the moment you were brought into this crazy world.. If anyone needs someone when they are reading this don't hesitate to respond to this comment and I will try my hardest to be there for you! I have sat here feeling like I do right now that the easiest thing would be for me to be dead but I have lost good friends through suicide and I have seen first-hand the devastation it causes.. Try and speak out, try and sort our your issues as best you can and remember not everything can be fixed immediately, somethings take time.. One Love

The vibes of growing up in the 80's and 90's and the nostalgia I have for a simpler time in life... Am I the only one who is looking back in time in 2024 and wishing I had a second chance in the past? Am I the only one who is worried about the next generation of goats and sheep being manipulated into dividing people and bringing darkness and chaos in the future? Am I the only one who is worried about the people around the world and would like everything negative and destructive to stop because what we are fighting for is not worth it? Please let me know in the comments. I have tears singing this song...

It's ['80s and '90s]. The apostrophe goes before the numbers. The purpose of an apostrophe is to show where something was truncated. Ex: [It is] becomes [It's], [something] becomes [somethin'] when you want to show someone is saying it with an accent that removes the 'g'. So for years, you place the apostrophe before the other digits to show that the [19] part of 1980 and 1990 was removed.
