On a very personal note, I just wanted to say that these compilations have genuinely helped me fall asleep during some depressive episodes where i really needed to close my day away from my own head. And more importantly, knowing I’d be guided to sleep by the perfect combo of a warm blanket of video game nostalgia and genuinely well-researched videos made the barrier of calling it a night and facing tomorrow far less imposing, sometimes even enticing, which really helped with keeping somewhat of a rhythm going. I’m sure I’m not the only one you’ve impacted like that, and I think you guys deserve to know that. It’s not a plea to keep making them as a public service, just a thank you for whatever you have given us already.

For anyone wondering, Mario and Jumpman are two different characters. Mario's main antagonist is King Koopa, Jumpman's is Donkey Kong. Mario saves Peach, Jumpman saves Rosalina. Mario is a plumber, Jumpman is a construction worker. Really the only thing connecting the two is the visuals of the clothes and mustache, though Jumpman is visually more chunky than Mario.

I love this fact from 7:52 for a lot of reasons! 1.I didn't know a game called "punch ball mario bros" was a thing! Im pretty sure me from like 5 years ago wouldn't even think that was true. 2. I love the story for this game, lt's about how human's evolve over time and how each day we learn something new that can help human's do more things that no species on earth can do. But on the other side, their are some human's that live in the past, they still use stone and they dont use/have technology. one of those people are Mario and Luigi who use their jumping power to attack enemies! It's really a bizarre take on Mario and Luigi, I mean they still use rock and dont have technology? now that's saying something! 3. The gameplay here is really interesting, you use a punch ball of all things and throw it at enemies. By that alone you know that this is not an ordinary version of mario bros, this is a version with style!
