@@nikolaiquack8548 Hey that's your right to disagree buddy. I first saw Pierce Brosnan in the film The Long Good Friday (great film btw), where he plays an ice cold IRA assassin, and believably too. There's something inherently dangerous about him. Connery is arguably the very best, but I still never bought that he could kill a target in cold blood the way 007 does on the odd occasion. Brosnan just owns that character to the core. The way he coldly pistol whips Renard in The World Is Not Enough so he can attach his silencer. The way he doesn't even blink when he sees Moneypenny dead in Die Another Day. The way he and Trevelyan beat the living shit out of each other at the end of GoldenEye. There's something almost sociopathic about him and his ability to separate his witty charming womanizing side and his lethal side, and switch between them at will. Good times 👍
@nikolaiquack85483 жыл бұрын
@@commanderkeen3787 Your view on Brosnan is very interesting. I do agree that he's a brilliant actor and he really shines in those moments when he can be coldblooded. I think my personal problem with his performance to some degree was that he never got enough of that stuff and his Bond always felt somewhere between Connery and Moore. I've read Brosnan say that he himself doesn't think he was really able to establish his own interpretation of the character in an interview. And while he was too harsh on himself in that interview (honestly felt a bit bad about it), he does have a point, I think. My fav is Timothy Dalton btw. Which is a controversial pick for some people, I know. I think he played the part of a cold blooded instrument of the government the best and the most consistently. Not the only reason why I love him the most, but one of the big ones for sure. I do love all the Bonds, though. Just to varying degrees :)

IMO it’s an underrated fun Bond film I know that’s unpopular but that’s just my opinion I enjoyed Die Another Day (2002) I didn’t think it was that bad honestly, compare this to Terminator: Dark Fate or the Disney Star Wars Sequels or Alien 3 they just gave a huge middle finger and they were an insult to their fans this was just harmless and misunderstood IMO

So maybe plastic surgery similar to how Blofeld created his clones in Diamonds Are Forever.
