Great card. I love the dots, they draw the eye all around the die cuts. The tissue dabbing added a different bit of interest. And the tissue paper can be used on another project! Again, Natalie, you have wonderful ideas and you keep us organized. When in doubt, close your eyes, pick a tag and use that technique to make your card! Thank you!

What a wonderful card! I love the pale script behind the flowers and the tiny dots sprinkled sparingly. You're going to need a lot more rings and tags before too long. So many ideas! Thank you! 🩷

A gorgeous card! I love the little dots and I agree with a previous comment that they give movement to the card. Yet more fabulous techniques to try - thank you!

Wow! I'm only at 3:27 and have missed your previous video on doing a tag library of techniques. What a wonderful idea! When I go back and look at some of the cards I've made, in photos or even if I still have the card, I often can't figure out how I did it, because I followed a YT video. I thought I'd remember, but of course, I don't. This is a good project, making blank tags and keeping them handy while I work on new techniques. A real game changer, for sure. Thank you so much!!!

I love the simplicity of the card, as I would say, 'beautifully simple, and simply beautiful.' Actually, the scorching adds some depth to the flowers, so it was a positive mistake! Love those Violet Studio enamel dots, I have them as well and they look great on your card. Thanks, Natalie for another stunner! xx

Love this card, Natalie. I said yesterday that I must get one of those rings and make them tags. It’s definitely a great idea to have all different techniques in one place. Love the different technique that this scrunched up tissue paper makes. It actually looks quite different to smooshing, which I love, but it’s nice to have another form to be able to use. I’m loving die cut December! Thank you so much for all your lovely different projects and ideas. Xx

I do not color well at all, so this is yet another practical way to add color to my die cuts. Great idea and just a little different from smooshing, allowing smaller areas of ink. Thank you for this wonderful ring of creativity!

I use the tags on a ring quite a bit. They stop you buying an embossing folder you already have etc. So I use them as swatches for emboss folders, stencils, ink swatches (blending on back and plain stamped square on front). I snagged an idea that makes them easier to use, from a set of index cards on a ring from Hobbycraft, so I have added a thicker card front and back panel to the ring, and used a couple of eyelets to attach some elastic to hold the tags tidy and closed. Thanks for the pdf sketches. I like the dots in this instance. I normally only use them as flower centres or at card corners, sometimes they look strange when dotted randomly , but I think it works with those flowers.

I've noticed that you use matt gel medium because it dries matt and you use a thin nosed bottle to do so. I've also seen you use a matt gel medium from a tub. Are these the same? If do, how do you get that thick medium from the tub to come out of such a thin nosed bottle?
@nbcascards19 сағат бұрын
I use Pebeo Matt Gel in the bottle as it's runnier. The tub is Liquitex Matt Gel Medium, which is thicker. X
