DTV Teambreaking presents you the "GERMAN BREAKING CHAMPIONSHIP 2023".
Die Finals is a sport event that has been held annually in the summer since 2019,
at which the German Championships in various sports are held at one location.
Under the name "Die Finals - Rhein-Ruhr 2023", several German championships will take
place over four days, from July 6 to 9, 2023, primarily in Düsseldorf and Duisburg.
A total of 159 German championship titles will be awarded in 18 sports,
including the sport breaking.
The competitions will be produced and broadcast live by ARD and ZDF.
The "GERMAN BREAKING CHAMPIONSHIP 2023" starts on June 8, 2023, with the B-Boy category.
The Top 32 B-Boys from all over Germany will compete against each other in a knockout system.
The remaining 16 B-Boys will compete in a round-robin system.
In the round-robin system, each participant faces every other participant in turn.
A round-robin is different from an elimination tournament where participants are eliminated after a certain number of losses.
There will be 4 groups, each consisting of 4 B-Boys.
The first & the second placed B-Boys from each group will advance and compete again in a knockout system.
The B-Girls starts on June 9, 2023.
The Top 16 B-Girls from all over Germany will compete in a round-robin system.
There will be 4 groups, each consisting of 4 B-Girls. The best 2 B-Girls from each group will advance and compete again in a knockout system.
