Die Kommentatoren sind ganz schöne Kritikaster. Man kann ja erklären, warum es für x und y einige Abzüge gibt, aber das waren doch insgesamt sehr elegante und athletische Übungen, die man auch einmal ein wenig feiern darf.

Naja, Elizabeth Seitz war bei den letzten olympischen Spielen 9. im Mehrkampf. Das war auch schon Weltklasse. Sie ist halt nicht so gut am Schwebebalken, aber das ist Helen Kevric auch nicht.

Was anyone else bothered by the fact they never moved the springboard out of the way the entire time? What if a girl came off the beam and lands on it wrong? I kept imagining the million dollar baby neck hitting the stool accident.

Alles top, leider immer nur männliche Kommentatoren. Die Frauen würden es besser machen. Wann gibt es endlich die Gleichberichtigung? Die Kommentare waren untererdisch, da die Jungs keine Ahnung haben, trotzdem dass sie Turnen kennen.

Der Experte Ronny Ziesmer kommt nunmal aus dem Männerturnen und das unterscheidet sich ja von Frauenturnen wesentlich

The international watchers are missing exactly nothing by not understanding the commentary. The German names for skills are weird and brutal and the commentators have a... questionable grasp on the sport and the scoring. Also do men do quad wolf turns? Because one of the guys talked about quad wolf turns.

Men don't do them but some women have trained them. However it's mostly for fun, since dance elements are capped at E for whatever reason, so a quad wolf turn won't give any additional difficulty and that's why it's never been competed and is not in the code of points. Some gymnasts have even done five or more turns, but only in training

I don't think men compete wolf turns really, but recently a non-international level 10 US gymnast, Whitney Bjerken, did a beautiful quad wolf turn in a US regional comp: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4Kyi2meocqcm68. Whitney is one of the most graceful gymnasts I've ever seen, not the hardest tumbling (partly due to losing a lot of time to injuries where she couldn't use her arms to tumble or do bars for a couple of years) but she has beautiful turns and lines, sadly due to injuries etc she is quitting gymnastics although she was originally lined up to compete for Alabama in college. You can see in that video linked above that the judges were basically beaming when they saw how easily she did the quad wolf turn. Even though it wasn't worth any more points than a triple wolf turn, due to the silly scoring system which can't reward people doing things above and beyond the code. Naturally, Whitney also got first place on beam at that comp. Whitney has one of the most beautiful wolf turns I've ever seen, along with Urazova. Not many people can make the wolf turn look graceful, but Bjerken and Urazova can.

Na, was denkt Ihr, wie die WM Mannschaft aussehen wird? Ich könnte mir vorstellen es werden Emma, Eli, Anna Lena, Lea und Pauline. Wenn Sarah Voss die Doppelschraube am Sprung turnt, dann ist Sarah wahrscheinlich dabei und Lea und Anna Lena streiten sich um den letzten Platz.

Sarah ist auf jeden Fall dabei, wenn sie nicht verletzt ist. Sie ist im All-Around doch viel besser als Anna-Lena und Lea... Der Boden ist das einzige Gerät an dem sie schlechter ist😅 Anna-Lena, Lea und Karina sind ja überhaupt nur dazu gekommen, weil Kim nicht mehr da ist und es so viele Verletzte gab, die sind doch aber keine Konkurrenz Sarah Voss😅 Wenn wir mal von keinen Verletzten ausgehen, dann Emma, Eli, Pauline und Sarah auf jeden Fall. Wenn Meolie wieder gesund ist, dann wird die 5. wohl Meolie sein, ansonsten tippe ich ziemlich stark auf Anna-Lena. Falls Karina in der Quali die Doppelschraube turnt, eventuell auch Karina, aber sie war ja leider ziemlich schwach in der letzten Zeit

@@sollte1239 Ja klar, Meolie ist am Balken sehr schlecht aber das ist ja eigentlich total egal, wir haben mit Sarah Pauline und Emma drei super Balkenturnerinnen. Meolie braucht gar nicht am Balken antreten. Aber selbst im All-Around ist sie noch besser als Anna-Lena und Lea, die beiden kommen nicht auf die 51,5/52 Punkte die Meolie turnt. Lea und Anna-Lena sind halt am Boden gut, wo Deutschland allgemein sehr schwach ist. Die könnten da super Lücken füllen, wenn sie an den anderen Geräten noch ein bisschen besser wären... Meolie hat halt wenigstens 2 sehr gute Geräte statt nur eins (wobei Anna-Lena ja am Sprung auch gut ist) und auch ein besseren All-Around Score.

Wrong the German juniors are better than this.... But to be honest Elisabeth Seitz is great on bares and Emma and Pauline at the Balance Beam and Lea and Anna Lena were good on Floor. And this competition was in the middle of their preparations for Worlds and that's why they didn't compete at their highest level...

@IoanaHaitchi Depends on which worlds. Last worlds you needed 13.399 on vault, a 14.4 on bars (that Seitz had), a 13.266 on beam (that Pauline Schäfer and Emma Malewski can reach) and a 13.6 on floor to make a final and in a final everything can happen. But yes this worlds scores will most likely be higher....
