Die Hard is a third-person shooter. The player battles terrorists and rescues hostages in the Nakatomi Plaza, which is the setting of the first film in the series.
Die Hard Trilogy is a video game based on the first three installments of the Die Hard series of action movies. Die Hard Trilogy features three games in one, each based on a movie installment and featuring a different genre and gameplay style. The game was well received and would eventually become a PlayStation Greatest Hits and PlayStation Platinum game. Die Hard Trilogy also inspired a sequel entitled Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas. The sequel retained the three different playing styles, but featured a spin-off storyline that was not connected to the movie series.

Not only was this 3 great games in one, you could even play this disc in a CD player and listen to the 25 or so music tracks on there own. A true classic.

I think every single PS1 game you could do that, i remember listening to Tekken 3, Wipeout, and Bust A Move 2 in my car all the time. lol I actually used the sound effects from the Bust A Move 2 disc to put between songs in mixed tapes. 😂

It was the year 2001. I was 6 years old and my family was about to go into the shelter. As we was walking there I seen a trash bag by the dumpster that had a ps1slim ,2 controllers ,and this game in the bag. My angels was working overtime that day🖤. Great memories.

If you can look past the polygons for a second, this is legit one of the best designed games for the PlayStation 1. Each level of that building was carefully planned out and such a joy to explore

I remember a friend bringing the die hard disc for the ps1 to school back in 6th grade. This was in 1998. It was my first time seeing a PlayStation disc. I was blown away just by looking at the cd.

@@michaelscott6425 I don't know how to zoom out map, but certainly look out for Purple blips they're extra lives. I know that level 3 you run straight out the loft all the way to the end to just merely have enough time to get one. There is another on the same level that comes out of one of the middle lifts. You can see one on your map straight away on level 5, this guys gets both I remember on this level. He also get the ones I remember on level 7. Bonus level 2, Level 10, Level 16, Bonus Level 4. He accidentally kills the hostage on level 12. "Oops" Level 13 you can see the blip change from purple to orange as the hostage is about to be killed, but you can get it if fast enough. Level 18 you can rush and try to plow through them all or snake off to the right and slip through the room next to the elevator they're stood in front of. Later that level he kills the hostage again, but you gotta clear out the guys. 1:20:19 Another comes out the elevators, best to prioritize them so you don't miss out 1:21:02 And that's all I remember tbh ☺

@@PaiceMaker I have got majority of them, I want to get them all and not lose any lives. Sometimes the lift catches me out, but generally I can do the game flawless. I just wasn't sure how to get map like this, it would make life easier

Man, this game brings back a lot of memories. I still say " Aww that's better" in certain situations till this day and I'm 42!🤣 in addition to that, this game have some of the wackiest codes I've ever seen in a video game! One being when you shot the enemies they would float towards the sky, another being Big Car mode while driving the Taxi!

Graphics aside, the simplicity and sometimes dumb AI actually made the game enjoyable, the environments made to hinder your progress and introduce difficulty to the game, to think this was more than 23 years ago, just wow, so much times passed, the late 90's was a boom in the game industry. I loved the PS1 games and the little demo discs they used to offer, so cool

All 3 games are classic. One of the best games of the 90s and best on PS1 imo. Carefully thought, just sheer fun, lots of replayability! Somone desperately need to develop a remake on Next gen consoles with Unreal 5. That would be amazing.

Die Hard Trilogy was such a banger. I played it on PC, and back then ports were pretty wonky. So my pc would basically accelerate this game so it was like it was in fast forward. Die Harder and Die Hard with a vengeance played normally but Die Hard 1 always played on crack lmao

Also, the ending of Die Hard with a Vengeance if you beat it doesn't make any sense. John and Zeus defeat Simon in his helicopter in Quebec, Canada. Why are NYPD police cars present? Why does it change back to him in New York on the ship and it explodes? Made no sense. Great game though.

I loved this game as a kid. But thinking about it.. idk how my mom let this one slide and she would tell me to turn off the music on Tony hawk when suicidal tendencies-psycho vision would come on but on here your just running around shooting and blowing people up 😂😂😂

One thing about this game I never understood -- do the enemies keep respawning (via elevator) until the hostages are all rescued? Or are there a limited amount of them?
