Remnants of a time where Die Krupps were more a metal band than anything else. Gotta say, they had a good sound, I wonder what would have happened if they had continued in that path rather than delving more deeply in EBM.

Well, have you listened to their recent stuff? Latest album for instance. It's definitely more metal than electro (much lamer and tamer than III and Paradise Now though). Jürgen has tried some other rock styles during the 1997-2005 DK hiatus (krautrock, nu-metal, gothic rock) but it's safe to say that now he and his band just uncreatively repeat themselves and exploit their old tunes, riffs and samples over and over again. Which is sad.

George Lewis was and still is to this day, the best drummer on the planet. But I'm partial. George gave him a great marketing strategy but he wasn't having any part of it.@@lapsijahti
