my game started getting slower in the high rounds because i didnt want to use equipment everytime i needed ammo
i played this game on local and it starts giving u aetherium crystals like u have zero again and found out at round 136 u will max out from zero (think its 138 total crystals for all upgrades ) u get 9 for ending round 135 :)

I imagine getting to higher rounds would've been easier now compared to back then considering, now you can upgrade the D.I.E. Wonder Weapon, Mulekick solves the ammo problem as well as letting you reuse some equipment , phd solves self inflicted explosion damage from raygun, the elemental pop electric cherry tier might help you out in a sticky situation, death perceptions ability to see zombies and where their coming from is very helpful as well. I imagine having the portal grenades to throw might be more useful then monkeys.

I spawn in with the m79, have melee wepon class PhD and ring of fire level 3, get 10k points, get power on, and buy the Gallo off the wall. Do the coffin dance ee, and get the d.i.e shockwave (replace gallo). I save up for pap 1 on my m79, but group the zombies and main the d.i.e Shockwave to get me through the rounds. I then wait till either round 15 or 16 (depends on when I get power on) to sit by wunderfizz with pap 1 or 2 m79, buy perks and spin box for raygun to take out megaton. (Sorry if this didn't make much sense lol)

Ray gun maxed out is op bc the zombies health cap at like round 40 something and ray gun is like still a one shot , pack a punched and max tier also ring of fire is good against megatons bc it increases damage making them like a 2-3 shot . I was on round 106, abusing the shit outta salvage and high grade salvage...and my game crashes to the desktop. I could've easily went another 50 to 100 rounds, maybe more, and I wasn't even heavily relying on the salvage at all. I was just training zombies and gunning them down with the ray gun. I at least tried for a round 100 again a 2nd 3rd and 4th time the eay after, 2nd time dying at round 94 and 3rd time dying at round 11 because I was emotionally crushed and couldn't focus. The 4th attempt was where I made it to round 101 and successfully exfilled, not taking any chances with it crashing again. I started using up all my 2 types of salvage at around round 80, maybe a few rounds before, to try and reach round 100 ASAP.
