RIFF? More like a barrage of pointless notes, pitch shifting and patch changes. I thought riffs were meant to be catchy? This "riff" ain't no Seven Nation Army or Iron Man. Meh. Pointlessly complicated and tuneless.
@Valdrr Жыл бұрын
@@robertdouble559 You're the reason people have this connotation of older generation musicians not approving of polyphia and modern bands. I'm also really confused on how you can say this isnt catchy or tuneless? the first twenty seconds are entirely melody until the beat drop, where you can absolutely still hear the melody under the "barrage of pointless notes". As for your comment "pointlessly complicated and tuneless", i can only assume that this is complete ignorance. Many famous and celebrated guitar riffs and solos from back in the 80s or nineties were just as fast, just as complicated, and some were arguably just as "tuneless". This "riff" as you put it, is a solo from another song that this artist (tim henson) guest stars in. its SUPPOSED to be complicated and a "barrage of 'pointless' notes". No one says the words "pointlessly complicated" in music unless they are woefully ignorant of musical expression and flexing. please try to contribute something more positive to the world next time, because i really don't see how your comment improves this community. If you dislike it, thats fine, but use some common etiquette and either keep it to yourself or be more polite in your comment. maybe try for a "i don't like this song, but it is impressive playing"

Sounds like someone got inspired by Animals as Leaders 😊What an exciting time to be alive, seeing these immensely talented musicians grow in real time. It's like watching DBZ characters with guitars, this isn't even their final form!

mannn tim never fails to just make the smoothest yet filthiest riffs. if it weren’t for you man i would be nowhere near where i’m at in my guitar progression. can’t wait to learn this and see both polyphia and unprocessed live again🩶🙌🏼

You are inspiring in every way, to spend hours everyday practicing guitar, to finally learn how to do makeup, to spend thousands on tattoos. Sick solo, this is 100% my favourite song now🔥

@@JonHop1 Its not a freckle filter, u can do fake freckles with a brow pencil (or sth similar), its just crazy how perfect the make up is. Also there is defenetly some foundation, blush and mascara, so yeah makeup.

Seeing this man play is a work of art. Aside from being such a beautiful man himself, he's the most skilled guitarist I've ever seen. Husband material right there.

I seriously tried out all of the Neural Guitar suites and ended up buying the Tim Henson one without knowing who Tim was. Obviously I'm a big fan now!

@@pedro_12cs_fmmusic is a form of media and literally any form of media can hold a big significance to an induvidual, whether it helps them take their mind off of the bigger worries in life or just the small things that’s on their mind. It helps a lot. Different stuff for different people it’s obviously subjective, just like if someone’s having a bad day at least they can listen to and watch something which will bring them that joy which can lift their spirits in the moment or whenever they consume that specific media.

@@pedro_12cs_fmsometimes we find ourselves in dark places in our lives and discovering particular forms of media pulls us out of those places, if even for only a little while. Much like Avenged Sevenfold and Linking Park did for me when I was a tween, I'm sure Polyphia has also managed to be that band that touches people deeply.
