Mark and Lukas will always remain the best Death/Rudolf-Duo. They just match so well - both vocally and acting-wise. you can really see how torn Rudolf is and how Death is toying with his fear. all these moments where Rudolf nearly gives in, but still has the hope to change things for the better. it's brilliant.

Of all the versions I've seen I like this one the most where Rudolf is almost like a ragdoll in the hands of Der Tod. Their interaction is truly amazing to watch. Thank you so much for sharing!

Ich kann nicht aufhören das zu gucken. Habe es am Samstag live miterlebt und es ist mit das Beste, was ich je auf einer Bühne gesehen habe!! Gänsehaut pur! Großes Lob an alle Beteiligten, das Musical ist einfach atemberaubend. Muss ich auf jeden Fall noch mal sehen!

Lukas war immer mein Lieblings Rudolph und mit dieser Meinung steh ich wahrscheinlich alleine hier aber Màtè ist und bleibt für mich der beste Tod! Aber Mark und Lukas harmonieren einfach toll zusammen. Wenn die beiden zusammen singen hat das jedes mal was besonderes!

Such energy and fluidity in this version. I am a fan of the other casts, With both Uwe and Mate's take on der Tod for different reasons because they both bring a uniqueness to the role, but this , They both seemingly radiate much power and oomph. It's amazing to watch.

Der Tod liebt Elisabeth von Österreich (obwohl Liebe für ihn ungewöhnlich ist), Rudolf's Mutter und versucht über Rudolf an sie heranzukommen; da sie den Tod zwar auch liebt bzw. sich stark zu ihm hingezogen fühlt, aber bisher noch standhaft geblieben ist. In dem Musical hält der Tod alle Fäden in der Hand, alle sind in seiner Macht, denn er gewinnt am Ende immer. Im Endeffekt erzählt das Musical eine ungewöhnliche Art von "Liebesgeschichte" zwischen Elisabeth und dem Tod.

Ich bin ja immer zwiegespalten. Von der stimmilichen Ausdrucksweise finde ich Maté definitiv besser. Aber rhetorisch, von der körperlichen Ausdrucksweise ist Mark unübertroffen. Dieses kalte bringt er perfekt rüber. Und dann dieses sofortige Umschalten zwischen der Kälte und der Zärtlichkeit. Ich wünsche mir eine Kombination aus beidem. Der einzige, der mich weder stimmlich noch rhetorisch reizt, ist tatsächlich Uwe. Ich will damit keinesfalls ausdrücken, dass er schlecht ist. Sonst hätte er die Rolle nie bekommen. Es ist einfach nicht mein Geschmack.
