⛔️ Diecast Model Cars Hunt 🚗 Mercedes-Benz Museum's Shop ⛔️ June 2022

At June 26th I was at the Mercedes-Benz Museum for a classic car event and of course I was also taking a look about their cool diecast model cars in their museum's shop. It's the first time that I am doing such kind of a video and I'm curious what my dear diecast collecting fans are saying.
I'm not affiliated with Mercedes-Benz. Also I don't get any money or anything else for making this video. I'm earning my own money and a hobby can cost money and it's worth it - the value for your hobby is increasing because you know if something is going broken it's your own money that's burning.
Keep in mind that prices and the variety of models may be different depending on when you're going to visit their shop.
Curious who's going to watch it until the end. I'll see it at your comments.
I still need to get used to talk again to my camera. Let me know what you're thinking about this kind of videos.

Mega tolles Video, so wie ich das entnehmen konnte, wohnst du dort in der gegend. und wenn du öfter dort bist, fänd ich kommende Videos, falls du dir noch Modelle kaufst sehr toll. Find ich klasse, da Einblicke zu sehen, für was sich andere entscheiden. Für mich gehts bald dort hin, und dann direkt ins Mercedes und Porsche Museum.

Hallo Marvin! Freut mich, dass dir mein Video gefällt. Ja, ich wohne in der Gegend, rund 40-45 km westlich von Stuttgart. Da sonntags auch immer der Old- und Youngtimertreff vor dem Museum ist, bietet es sich immer an da hin zu gehen. Das Porsche-Museum ist auch einen Besuch wert. Was mir dort sehr gefällt ist, dass die Fahrzeuge die Plätze ändern und auch die Fahrzeuge mal getauscht werden. Porsche stellt mit einzelne Autos auch anderweitig aus, teils sind sie auch noch im Einsatz. Preislich liegt es meines Wissens wie beim Mercedes-Museum. Man ist aber schneller durch. Also wenn du alles ablichtest, solltest du beim Mercedes-Museum auch ein paar Stunden einrechnen - sonntags im Sommer wie gesagt auch noch draußen das Young- & Oldtimertreffen (Juni bis Oktober), da kann man die Zeit gut genießen. Hatte vor ein paar Wochen als ich wieder dort war, mir noch den goldenen Strich-Acht gekauft. Der ist mir hier bei dem Video ja auch bereits so positiv aufgefallen :-D Gruß Sven

@@BFDdrives Das der Rundgang durchs Porsche Museum schneller geht wusste ich bereits, haben ja auch eher eine Sportwagen Auswahl. Mercedes hat ja viel mehr Autos. Freue mich auch schon sehr. Werde mir auch ein Modell holen. Der Goldende sieht auch sehr sehr toll aus, die Preise sind ja etwas teurer. Aber dafür auch sehr detailliert. Bin leider am Wochenende nicht da, sondern in der Woche. Wollen am Anreisetag auch noch ins Unimog Museum, das ja 1,5 stunden vom Porsche Museum entfernt ist. Aufjedenfall hab ich auch schon ein Blick auf ein Mercedes Modell, wäre toll, wenns vorhanden ist.

Yeah definately! They have really cool stuff there. The diorama is also very nice - although they mixed up different scales on it 😄 But this is always most impressing to me and the thing I'm watching first whenever I'm there.

Vielen Dank 😊 Ich denke das nächste Mal wenn ich dort bin, werde ich mir noch ein Nach-Geburtstagsgeschenk machen. Also der goldene 200 Strich-Achter bei 8:36 würde mir schon sehr gefallen. Die neuen Verpackungen finde ich gut, dass man da mehr vom Modell sieht. Wird aber vermutlich auch eher zu Transportschäden führen im Vergleich zu den vorherigen Norev-Verpackungen wo es oben drüber auch noch Styropor hat. Aber im Laden sieht man zum Glück alles 😄

Thanks a lot for your comment. I'm there pretty often during the warm weather season when going to the Classics & Coffee classic car meeting. The shop has free entrance and so I took my chance to also film it for my diecast modelcar collector friends. In next week I'll also show their diecast modelcar display in the shop of their facility in Sindelfingen. Wishing you a happy new year!

@@BFDdrives thanks for sharing. I own an older c240 and have many 1/64 scale diecast cars which includes various Mercedes models an yrs. Would love to own an Amg GTC or an GTS. Too old for a GTR lol But my dr says the suspension in any of them would kill me due to spinal injuries. So i dream 👍😀

Oh me, too 😄 Assuming the next time I'll be over there again to the Cars & Coffee classic car meeting then I'll going to buy the golden Mercedes-Bent 200 (1968-1973) from 8:36 - loving this old Benz and it will for sure looking good beside my old W123 from Revell.

Hehe, die Teile am Anfang, da gehen einem schon die Kinnladen runter. Bei den anderen sind es ja die Preise die man in der Regel bei den Fabrikaten so kennt. Aber da ist mit Sicherheit auch ein Aufschlag mit Lizenzgebühren drauf. Wobei die 100 Euro Modelle in 1/18 von Norev schon recht gut gemacht sind.
