Definitely, I’ve seen too many older castings with rubber bands in videos that have had ruined paint. I know why they add them but it’s too bad they couldn’t use the plastic bands there too.

It’s even better in person. You should definitely remove the rubber bands the plastic one should be okay, but sometimes I like to display the larger cars so for me the plastic has to go too.
