I have to disagree. Corrales did play dirty in the 10th, but he was in survival mode and the referee failed to properly punish him for it. Also, Corrales still had to come up with that amazing flurry to stop the fight. Castillo played just as dirty, if not more so, by missing weight by som much. This fight should have never happened imo. Not just because of the weight, but because these two legends beat each other into long hospital stays less than a year before this. The 1st fight was such a classic that any sequel was bound to not live up to it, and I thought it was too much to ask to have these guys go at it again, especially so soon.

Brought to my attention that Castillo came in 3.5 lbs over the contractual weight which was a bit unfair. Corrales took the fight anyway. Unfair for one fighter to have to cut down 3.5 more lbs and it probably did make a difference these guys were so close in ability. Did not help that Corrales fought Castillo's fight inside rather than using his reach and speed on the outside.

Castillo got over confident in the first fight and got KOd. I have to say the ref gave Corrales too much time twice or it might have gone the other way. There was no doubt in this fight, Castillo won the fight with a KO. Both fighters came to fight and put on a display of what boxing is supposed to be. A third fight never happened. Too bad.
