I’ve wiped out on a launch at that beach. Yeah, you lose focus for one sec and next thing you know you’re sideways in the yak and waves crashing. 😂 Enjoy the crab!

Could also just be the remote and dirty contacts. I would take apart the remote and look for corrosion on the switch contacts. Either way in the end you'll have clean contacts.

Do you ever have the motor head disengage so it doesn't turn. Mine seems to pop up and misses the plastic tooth.

We have a good spot to drop hoopnets we always limt out good size we get so many it never takes more than 3 drops or 4 to get 3 or 4person limits of good size crab ,I will wait till rockfish opens so its worth the 5 hour oneway trip to the ramp at our crabbin spot till then the asian market in my hood has live Dungees for much cheaper than fuel bait and supplies we burn through to crab
