I’ve got the 12ft diem 3lb tc , I fish 20 wraps with ease 3.5oz lead , ngt XT8000 15lb line mate , 38.8lb carp to date caught with ease

The 9ft's are OK for small waters

But don't think I'd get more than 10 wraps on them. But I do think they are OK especially for someone who is starting out. I havnt tried the 12 ft's tho

Yh the 12ft are fine mate , just make sure you have some good quality line
