Glad WM is using more than just 501 for trains

Hopefully WMSR will bring 502 someday in the future but from what I heard I believe needs some repairs before it’ll be able to return which is likely gonna be awhile with their current projects and the tourist season starting next weekend. I’m glad we still got 501 running and those 2 former WM diesels that are currently being stored at wmsr and even that F40 that I hope gets repainted in the future as I don’t like the Polar Express colors it’s had since 2019.

I heard they switched trucks with 502 to allow for 501 to work 501 is currently painted in the Western Maryland circus livery

Ik, but hopefully they’ll have 502 back. Eventually… but for now I’m fine with the diesels they have alongside 1309.

501 was repainted I don't think 502 has been repainted as of yet.

@@billyrueckert5113 Yes. It was initially a parts source for 501 but now it’s awaiting work to its engine.
