Few years ago I done the same with my 1.8TD Mondeo. Engine work on that very well. It only started little bit poorer in cold conditions.

True, the ratio for winter conditions is around 70% diesel and 30%. this may vary depending on how cold it gets

just do a google search on the subject there are too many discussion about this, and pointing you to just one article defeats the purpose. If our viewers are interested in this subject we will do a full video on subject with consumption, performance etc..

I've seen this before but never with unused oil. I knew someone who would do some french fries with it first. I mean it literately. Obviously the used cooking oil has to be treated and cleaned before it can be reused as fuel, but that's how all this becomes really interesting. That was in Portugal but now it is illegal to do it there. How about where you are?

The oil was unused because we didn't want to waste time with the filtration and also 1L of oil is half the cost of 1L of diesel.

***** Diesel fuel from the Gas station already contains Biodiesel. Biodiesel is nothing else but used vegetal oil.
