Great installation. Very neat and great to have the option of leaving it behind when not required. Thanks.

I don't think I have seen such a neat installation .Very professional. I like your tyre mounting rack as well.What are your thoughts in covering this with a waterproof tarpaulin for when it rains?
@shomaacoustics940 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Yes, I did make very simple waterproof hood for it and it works well. The tyre mounting rack is of the shelf item that could be purchased on EBay or in the auto parts shops.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for thank you. How did you connect the exterior duct to the threaded plumbing connector though?
@shomaacoustics940 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. The ‘L’ shaped section of duct has neat fit to plumbing connector. ‘L’ part was purchased in Auto Cheep shop and is found in exhaust piping section.

If you add a suction hose from the camper to the cold air intake of the heater it will operate even better!!
@shomaacoustics940 Жыл бұрын
Definitely, it would create internal circulation system that would be lot more heat efficient but same air would be circulating all the time.For small size caravan like mine, I rather choose little less effective heating but fresh air intake system.

@@shomaacoustics940 Your van will have vents built in for that. They’re usually relatively small so the movement of air won’t be effected greatly..

Nice work. Has the pvc connector held up to the heat?
@shomaacoustics9402 жыл бұрын
Yes, all working perfectly. Very happy with it.

What’s the outdoor pvc cap called that you painted black? This may simplify my install.I just need power out there.Easy
@shomaacoustics940 Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure about the name of the part that you asked but I’ve sourced it from plumbing section in the Bunnings. it comes as a kit, piece of tube with screw on cap.

why dont you pot the return air in? your always creating positive pressure and the heater is less efficient
@shomaacoustics9402 жыл бұрын
I was thinking about it and decided to open door vent ( existing ) if needed but unit is very powerful for space that is heating. I’m running it on minimum setting all the time. Can’t be more efficient than it is at the moment. But good pickup Clement.
