I figured that now was the time to do a tool box tour and show you guys what I have. If you have any questions or if you would like to see me do any independent reviews on any specific tools, let me know.

What your doing is smart as an apprentice. It's okay to drop money on higher end stuff when you know its going to be used all the time and later if you like you can upgrade some of the other stuff you have as the years go on. It's hard seeing younger people get into any trade and putting themselves into so much debt at the start. Makes the journey so much harder and no where near as enjoyable. I wish you good luck!

Awesome setup. I think you are the first mechanic that has a lot of Rigid power tools. I'm glad to see that. I have a couple of drills from them myself.

@@VinhNguyen-zn2rqyour exactly right because that’s the only reason I’m wanting to check out rigid. But I have all Milwaukee

lol. In the old days you just needed the orange box. Now you need four times that much and it all has to be snap on

Nice set up for first year. If your going to work on freightliner get yourself the Detroit dd engine turning tool and the jake brake feeler gauges. Lots of top end sets at the dealership and it’s a pain waiting for the shop ones.
@voskamp702210 ай бұрын
I plan on getting some feeler gauges in the future. Thanks for the advice.

Love the Ridgid 1/2" n 3/8" impact wrenches, drills, sawzall, grinder. Hate the 3/8" ratchet. Too big too bulky.

I like how the snooty Icon deadblows turn into ounces over the Pittsburgh being pounds. 😆

Nice toolbox tour, you did great with filming this, and hopefully more automotive video to come. It's nice and refreshing to not see all tool truck brands. 👌🏻

i had the exact 61' husky when i first started and i even got the hutch eventually. for what it was and at the time 1500.00 for both i thought it was a great starter box, just wish they used thicker metal other wise i would of kept it and got the side lockers

Absolutely Fantastic Tool Setup. No Shame on the Husky Tool Box. I Own One Myself & has Worked Flawlessly for Me.

Every pressure tester runs on shop air. They all have a little tiny hole in the bottom that you can stick a blow gun in and pressurize the system, it's not meant for that but that's what happens when you blow air into it.
